Overall a good and prestigious college to get your BTECH from. You won't regret.

The WBUT syllabus is followed. The syllabus is contemporary and with inclusion of certain subjects which may not seem to be needed in stream but is helpful in the long run. The subjects are on multiple diversity and anyone can go depth of any subjects.

The placement is more or less same as other engineering colleges. The key difference comes in terms of ceramic technology. They get more opportunity being the only college in Easter India to have the subject. The computer science and information technology students mostly participate in pool campussings.

We celebrate cultural festival and technical fest every year. It's a very big event where participants come from other colleges. We also have yearly freshers welcome for the new comers and farewell for the passing out batch. We do held a yearly football and cricket competition which is mostly intra college. Among the indoor game events we had table tennis and carton competition.

Being a govt college the tution fee is negligible. The fee when I studied was 1k per month which makes it 12k per year. It is very much affordable. I must say my higher studies coated less than my pre matric schooling. The college do provide assistance for merit cum means scholarship and I was fortunate to receive that. So my college study cost was almost null.

I have got scholarship from govt showing the result of higher secondary exam. There was a provision from the government to exempt the tution fees either full or half. It was not a problem as the process was well laid out. However sometimes I needed to visit the govt office which was nearby.

The gender ratio was odd as mostly were boys. It would 80% boys. The campus life was great as some or the other events we're always going on. The seniors we're cool and we used to play together. Occasional jamming session did lighten our mood. The canteen was always full of vibrance. 2 or more group of boys were always found. It was alive.

No, my homes was in the same city. However the college provide hostel facility with good internet speed. At my time the fee was just Rs 60 per month. Including electricity bill and bed cost. There was a caretaker. I would not say the facility was grand but was well enough to live. Considering the price to be paid it was cheaper than water supply.

The alumni network of ceramiv technology is very strong. They are the ones who give reference to pass out batches and even after they start the job life. The other streams are quite new compared to ceramic. However the official alumni Association has been formed and reforms are going on. All the seniors are extremely helpful and provides lots of openjngs in terms of career.

Through all India joint engineering entrance test. After the results are out. We get rank and according to ranks we can choose colleges. Once the college is chosen, we get a ticket for the college and come to college on admission day with the ticket. Onboarding begins.

The faculties are helpful and provides guidance in the course. They have also helped us in multiple projects and guided us in our career. Even after the college we have received help from the faculties and alumnus. Even when we needed guidance out of syllabus we have got the help and boost from the faculties.
