My college

There is always something bad about the college and something good about it. We can judge it by comparing it with others and when I compare then my college is moderate in all aspects expect some things.

My course is B.Tech in APPLIED ELECTRONICS AND INSTRUMENTATION ENGINEERING in this course we are mainly taught about electronics and instrumentation subjects which is enough for grabbing the jobs in the field of an electrical engineer and instrumentation engineer. we have eight-semester during our four-year course, in each semester we have lumpsum five to six subjects excluding practicals, each subject has four internal exams and at every six months the semester exams. this exam structure is fair because of internal exams our course gets completed by the end of each semester. practical of each subject make us familiar with the real world and prepare for our future opportunity.

The average placement of my college is 3. 5 lake p/a, we get our internships in the third year i. e fifth and sixth semester list of companies for the recruitment drive CSE Wipro, Infosys, Tech Mahindra, IBM, Ericsson, CTS, Learning Mate, Think & Learn, AlumnusSoftware, Prime Focus Technologies, Amazon, Paytm, Kreeti Technologies, Labvantage, Arodek, Kovair Software, Shri Ram Transport, Paytm, RJ Software, Juspay, Neveah Tech, East India Technosoft, Axis Bank, APT Software, Calsoft, IMART Tech, Pratian Tech, Innofied Solutions, Delgence, Tranistics Data Tech, Hitachi Consulting, OMICS International, Epam Systems, HTL Co Pvt. Central Vigilance Awareness at CPT Haldia 6. ANNUAL CULTURAL MEET 7. AUSPICIOUS PARADIGM 8. RANG MILANTI 9. PRAYUKTI 10. Riviera where PARAYUKTI is a technical fest that goes for four to five days, and riviera, rang milanti, auspicious paradigm and annual cultural meet is the cultural and management fest in every mentioned above fest minimum of thousand people participate. the main event which I forgot to mention in the list is ANNUAL SPORTS MEET in which a minimum of three thousand people participates.

According to me, everything is expensive today comparing to other colleges my college fee structure is moderate, it takes 40k to 42k each semester excluding exam fees and late fees. the modes of payment of fees are online, cash, and demand draft in the name of the college. The college provides full transparency of the fees they are charging.

Nither I have scholarships nor education loans, but my many friends have the same kind of loans that is Bihar student credit card loan schemes.

Campus life is beautiful mainly I love sports so I can easily tell about the sports, there are two ground and one basketball court and two volleyball court. there are seniors who always organize technical and cultural workshops, the boys is to girl ratio is 5:2, we also have many international students from the country like Nepal, Bhutan, Bangladesh. the workshops which are organized by the seniors are about electrical things like robotics, circuit board, IoT, programming, digital marketing, and these are always paid workshops.

In the first semester, I was at the hostel for six months and then I move to pg. About the hostel- the hostel in which I was staying was capable of holding a maximum of 400 students but at that time there were only 200, in each room, we are three students living with attached bathrooms, as everybody knows hostels have the worst food so was mine. After that, I stayed in PG where my monthly rent comes 2000 including electricity bill. My hostel fees are 12000 for six months.

I don't know any of the alumni but the senior students are helpful in their world, I mean that a senior who plays good football will help in sports and another one who is good at programming will help in programming.

I got this college through the entrance exam called WAST BENGAL ENTRANCE EXAMINATIONS BOARD which forms are filled online in the month of January and the exam happens in the month of March or April maximum it happens in march only. I have given my exams in the year 2018 and got the results of this examination in the month of May in the same year, according to my results I was eligible for the e-counseling ant through that I landed to this college. Steps to take admission: 1. clear your intermediate exam with a minimum of 55% 2. fill the online form of WBJEE and prepare for that 3. get enough cutoff score to be eligible for the e-counseling. 4. select your desired branch of the respective colleges and wait for the counseling results. 5. go and get admission to the college.

For each subject, we have two faculty members the one who teaches the first half of the subjects and the other the faculty the other half of the subjects. the average age of the teacher is 30 years and the minimum qualifications are graduation and many good faculty have a master degree, the core subjects are taught by the most experienced faculty present in that branch, many teachers are good tutors but some are not so for that subject we have only options left is to google it. we cant have any industrial experience in the lecture room but in the practical classes, we get exposure to industrial experience.
