Course Curriculum Overview
I am opted in a dual degree program in electronics and communication engineering but till now i don't think that it is more research driven till now. Currently in first year we have to study common syllabus for all branches which is not good. On campus placement are mostly for IT students.
Placement Experience
Placement starts from 3 rd year for 4 year program and from 4 th year for dual degree student. Three internship are mandatory for all students to get degree. Many companies came to our college but most of them want computer science student.
College Events
Hillfair is our cultural fest(November) it is one of biggest fest in northern india and many popular personality came to this fest every year. Nimbus is our technical fest(march) which is not that big but also not very bad. Students from different college takes part in it and win good amount of money.
Fee Structure And Facilities
In india fee structure is totally depends on your cast yes on your cast. For general student it is expensive even if you are from poor family but from gods grace if you are born in st,sc or obc caste then take no tension taxpayers money will we used for your fees even if family is earning millions.
Fees and Financial Aid
In india no scholarship for general student are present and also college only offer scholarship for minorities even they are from rich family
Campus Life
Our Campus is India's second most beautiful campus lush green campus with good gender ratio people from all over country are present here but being at a remote area it is not that much connected to bigger cities which is a big drawback for us. Technical institute remains away from politics in india because of fear of placement.
Hostel Facilities
Yes, hostel are provided within campus with some minimal charges, hostels are dividend on year basis, rooms are sharing with four students which is very bad and no one knows what will happen after corona
Alumni/Alumna
Yes college seniors are very much helpful they are eager to help in any situation even better than our teachers
Admission
We have to give jee mains entrance exam which is given by 12 lac students every year, From which top students about 30k are selected to get admission. During admission we need to write our preferred branch and on the basis of our rank all over india we get college and branch
Faculty
Our lecture duration is of 1 hour then tutorial are also of 1 hour and labs last for 3-4 hours depending on the subject.faculty is not at all interested in teaching but yes there are some teachers which teaches from heart but moat of them just want to complete syllabus.
