Average College with Good infrastructure

I will say our college is above average. There is improvement needed in Lab equipment availablity.

Course curriculum is average mot very god not very bad. To become a better professional you need to evaluate yourself to understand each and every subject. Teachers were there to help you every time but i must mention there are few good teachers available here. I'll not say that the course are re search driven. There are pretty conventional courses are there with no very few modifications.

Well the placement of non core departments like Computer Science, IT and Electronics are very good. Even for the departments like Bio technology and food technology you can expect good Placement. But yes the placement of core departments like Electrical, Mechanical, Civil is not upto the mark. Most of core students are placed in software companies.

So many events are celebrated in our college. In cultural fest we have RIVERA, RANGMILANTI, Auspicious Paradigm etc. In tech fest we have PRAYUKTI, ARMEGEDDON, Autonomous Robotics etc. The biggest tech event is PRAYUKTI and the biggest cultural event is RIVERA. Almost everybody participates in this two events.

Fees is average. More of less the fees is 3.5 lakhs for 4 year course in Engineering and for management course of 2 years the fees is around 2 to 2.5 lakhs. The are many mode of payments like NEFT, DD, Cheque and even cash is also acceptable in emergency cases. There is 1200/- charge which every student have to pay every semester as exam fee apart from that no hidden charges and yea transparency is there. If one obtains poor marks and want to get admission from management quota then there is no defined limit you may have pay 1-3 lakhs extra as donation to secure a seat.

Yes i got a scholarship from the TFW ( Tuition fee waiver Scheme) of West bengal government. My whole tuition fee which was around 3.2 lakhs was waived off. I only need to pay 24000 during admission and then 1000 every year. All together i am about to pay 32000 as fees of whole course.

There are more males than female. The ration might be 7:1. Yes there are so many parties organised by seniors in which we all participated. There are a lot a of workshops organised in our college like the Manual Robotics, Autonomous robotics, PYTHON 3, MATLAB, PSPCIE, Artificial intelligence. There are so many kind of students there we all have immense bonding between us. There is no violence in the name of gender, ethnicity, race, religion, sexual orientation, politics and economic status. There is no discriminations at all. We all live harmonically and help each other in hard time.

No i haven't opted for hostel. I shared a flat with three others. The flat rent was 5000/- a month. I also know the hostel fees, the hostel fees was 2000 per person including electricity. There are adequate seats for hostel. Apart from hostel there are so many PGs available here you can easily opt one.

Not every alumni is helpful. Most of them are still in contact and help us for future guidance. Some of the reputed alumini are in ISRO, IOCL, PGCIL etc. Some of them opted higher studies in different IITs and NITs. You can seek help from many of them.

Well securing a rank in the entrance exam of WBJEE, i search for the college best suited for my rank inside West Bengal. I was sure that i'll choose Electrical Engineering as my career. So i found this college to be a perfect match. My rank was 10642. The admission was open on August 2016 by WBJEE portal. I have came across some good reviews about this college from the seniors so i decided to opt this college.

Well each and faculty is different. Class timing from 9:50am to 5pm. I have seen best to worst faculties in our department. If i take name Shouvik Mallik ( Power Electronics ) is a very good faculty out there. You can definitely learn a lot from him. Every teachers try their best to help students. Most of assistant professors are MTech with ongoing PhD whereas Head of the Department of is PhD having enough experience to their respective field. The concept clearing capability of most if the teacher are good.
