Good for Engineering

Good for Engineering specially Electronics engineering department is much good here and faculties are also good.

Our course curriculum is good but it's not completely perfect if u want to clear any compititive examinations after Engineering. Its good in the perspective if you only want to get good marks in engineering. Yeah course provides necessary knowledge to secure on campus placements. And there are many students who are visiting many industries.

Our college placementbis slowly improving. As it's new college and we just crossed 10 years. Yeah some reputed Tech companies visited our campus like Wipro, TCS, Capgemini. And here students get 1month in summer every year for doing Internships. Till now I have done 3 internships.

There is a annual Tech festival known as GUTechfest where all technical events are organised like coding compitituons, robotics etc. Besides this also there is Utkranti day-night hackathon organised regularly to discovers the talent among the students.

Fee structure is quite feasible here. The fee structure is based on even odd semester system here. In odd semester we pay 23000 rupees and in even semester we pay 17700 rupees,which includes all the utility fees. You also have to pay another rupees 500 for using University Buses annually.

No, I have not opted for any education loan as the fee structure here is quite fair. So, I have not opted for any loans or scholarships. If anyone want they can avail loans too.

Here Gender ratio od male and female is 8:2 in 10 students. Few girls are there though some departments have more girls. Yeah we have labs for our practicals which are modern and well occupied with new equipments. We also have workshops. We also have coding, robotics and sports club too here. All these clubs are good.

I am not staying in hostels. But I have seen my friends staying there, and I also visited there, these hostels are good and well occupied with all the required stuffs. Though there is no separate hostels for engineering students.

Yes, seniors are always helpful here. Whenever you need help, seniors are always ready to help you in studies, also in extra curricular activities.

I am a 6th semester student currently. I got admission here in 2017 after clearing the state level CEE entrance exam. Admission process is quite easy if you follow the steps. First we have to clear CEE assam /JEE entrance exam. After getting ranks one can opt for engineering here. A notification will be out which can be seen in newspapers by the University for the admission.

We have 7 permanent Assistent a professors in our department along with 1 scientific officer with 2 associated faculties. Our professors are very talented and familiar with the new technologies. They always help students whenever we need them. They also motivates us to try new things.
