My experience

College is good if you are really participating in society and getting exposure to events and develping skills. If you just want to study and get a degree you may get disappointed at the end semester where you would find other colleagueous having fun and they were actively participating in many events and were recognised by some awards and trophy.

It should be a mix bag as some subjects would not be not at all relevant but still they are taught just to complete the course with some subjects. Exam take place as usual like any other schools takes an exam but we also need to give internal assessment and do some assignment to pass in subjects. As I was studying on campus and we were not given any opportunity for industrial visit. You can only learn what is in books. From my experience what I can tell you is that we should do some internship by side or do some online certification courses to enhance skills as just getting a degree wouldn't help you much.

There are few placement cell option but don't expect too much. Most of the companies which come for internship would be unknown. Very few well known companies take part in it. Most of the students are not well informed about the dates and companies which are going to participate as student can not make resume accordingly. I think only around 10 percentage of students could make their way to get selected in these companies and rest of them usually go for further studies or find jobs themselves. Our college promote more for startups and if our idea has any prosperous future then college may fund for your business.

The biggest fest is the college fest organised by our student union group. It is the biggest event organised but comparing it with other colleges it's just a small event. Their are other events or fest organised by commerce, science, economics, and many other departments. College also do some events on special occasions of any celebration like Independence Day. There are also some events like save earth by eleminating plastic. If I tell you about participation of students it is very low. As most of the students don't find any entertainment in it.

As it is partially funded by government, fee is not that big. My fee was around 9000 for 1 year and we could pay it online. There are other mode of payment through demand draft. In my course we did not had any additional fee. College provides details very clearly but their was no fee breakdown details.

College does offer scholarship to students who scores the most in a course. They also check that it is above certain percentage and attendance details of the students. Students with low income group can avail some reduction in fee if they provide some documents asked by administration. Scholarship was given around 500rupeess which is not that high as the fee is not so high.

Campus Life would go normal if you do not participate in any society like dance, music, debate etc. If we don't get engaged with any activity in college it would be boring for you. We had a ground for sports activities but now a new building is being constructed in that place for more classrooms and other departments. You won't find any ragging or discrimination around. The security staff is very strict which sometime becomes annoying for students. The best place in our college is library and auditorium. There is also computer lab and chemistry lab. All these places are kept very neat and well mannered. The college premises is mostly covered with plants and trees which is kept very clean. Canteen becomes too much crowded and it is really hot in summers.

There is no hostel option in our college. So I can't tell you about hostel seats and it's fee. Student coming from outside Delhi find a sharing room and live in that pg. Mostly their rent was around 5000 per head which includes food.

Never had any interaction with our senior students. I only met some senior at table tennis room. We used to play together but didn't had too much talks about academic life.

I got admission after the merit list was out by Delhi University and then I applied online to this college at May 2016 according to the second merit list. Then I visited next day after applying online to the college. I got my documents verified and submitted it to adminstration. After that we had to pay fee online and secure our admission. After few months we could get our documents back after they are checked.

Faculty is good as some teachers are really supportive and they know what the students want. But you may experience some teachers who don't care for your any concern and just want to complete their course and leave. Their are some seminar which takes place and by which sometime we earn certificate by participating in it. Teachers are really helpful if you participate in any club that they represent. Commerce club was our main area where we could participate and get exposure at various events and functions which took place.
