College management was good and always helped the students grow well and achieve success.

UPSEAT was the exam I wrote it includes objective type paper. I scored good in physics and chemistry and average in maths. I preferred mechanical as it was my subject of interest. I was good in physics so mechanical was preferred option.

Course was as per the prescription from technical education board. It covered various aspects right from personality building to deep technical knowledge.

All big companies like TCS INFOSYA WIPRO HCL etc. Some mechanical companies such as RIL also participated initial joinING package varied from 2.5 lakh per annum to 7 lakh par annum.

There were technical forum of each stream. Mechanical electronics cs forum which conducted various events like photography sports social events. Along with welcoming freshers as well as farewell to final year.

It being a government college fee was subsidised. 25000 per annum with education and hostel included. Hence the fee structure was affordable by several.

I didnt availed any loan as it was government college fee was easily affordable there were government scholarship for sc st north east and obc students.

It's was no doubt awesome welcome you with introduction with seniors and teaching you behaviour skills respecting the college values seniors and teachers.

Hostels were an issue at our time. Accommodation was a problem and we have to stay out for one year. Later rooms were on a sharing basis with 2 or 3 boys in one room. Room were of moderate size. Food was ok ambience was good although.

We have a strong alumni network and seniors and jouniers still pronounce each other with respect irrespective of position they held. We have several alumni meets gapping in different part of globe several a time.

Exams were structured as per guidelines from technical education board two mI'd semester and than a semester total eight semester in four year period.

KNIT being the government college had a well equipped teachers and faculty average age must be 40-45 good faculty. There were teachers who were educated from IIITS and prime institutes. Also few teachers were internationally known teachers who received international awards.
