Exam UPSEE (apj abdul kalam technical university) rank 3666. Its one of the oldest and best govt college of up so i took admission there.

Course Curriculum Overview

My branch was electronics engand as knit is an autonomous college .So it follows its own curriculum designed by iit curriculum is almost same as in iits.

Fees and Financial Aid

Merit scholarship of Rs 3000 is awarded to 10 percent of the total number of students of each B.Tech branch by Uttar Pradesh Government. General/Other Backward classes Scholarship of Rs 330/- P.M

Hostel Facilities

The Institute presently has five Boysﾒ Hostels to accommodate about 750 male students and Two Girlsﾒ Hostel to accommodate about 200 Girl students. One new boysﾒ hostel of 100seat capacity is under the process of construction. A 240 seat capacity Girlsﾒ Hostel is also under construction and is expected to commence early next year.

External Expense: Rs.2000 - Rs.4000

Exam Structure

Exams are held semester wise life at KNIT is not .So hectic but yes labs and classes are regular and compulsary.

Faculty was not so bad but its govt college of up so they were monotonous and lazy .But were very capable and were helping and supportive. Overall faculty was not best but nice.

After 6 th semester you are eligible for campus placement. Many companies are comes likes Accenture, Cognizant, Wipro, TCS, Infosys, Tech Mahindra, Cagegimini etc and they offer decent package. Highest package 3000000 and average package 400000 and profile offered as for company required. 80 percentage student get placement. Take a placement in good MNC company.

Actually I didn't research on the placement. But in college campus I saw many boards of placed students and the average package is around 4-4.5lakh per annum.and college data says about 90%of students are placed. I am preparing for both off-campus and on campus placement.

Our college offer good placement it has average placement of 11 Lpa. Highest package of 52 lpa in Google. There are many company like TCS, L&T, GOOGLE, MICROSOFT, IBM and many more visited our college. If you have CGPA greater than 7 then you are eligible for maximum placement drive. I choose this course because I want to be a software developer. The faculty are very kind and helpful. Almost every faculty member has completed there post-graduation from various established colleges. The examination scheme is a little bit slow here.
