The course curriculum is mainly focused on what is the current requirement of the industry and being an autonomous college it has the power to structure it's syllabus like that which is actually better than what is provided by the university and it's also beneficial for students as companies would want someone with such knowledge.

A lot of companies visit the campus for placements a few of them are: Amazon Microsoft Wipro TCS Cognizant A student has to go through the following stages to get a placement: 1. Coding round 2. Technical Interview 3. HR round. A student must have a minimum GPA of 7. 5 to sit for the placements. The college provides students with mock interviews and the college also asks the companies to make the students familiar with their placement process.

The college hosts 2 anual fest apart from the freshers welcome these are: 1. Daksh - The Technical Fest In this fest students participate and showcase their unique technical ideas in front of a huge audience there are robo war contests, coding contests, IoT contests, Gaming contests, Quizzes and students from across West Bengal comes and takes parts in these events each year. 2. Eclecia - The Cultural Fest It's the biggest and the best college fest in Kolkata. From drama to treasure hunt, from music to dance to films to photography competitions are held students from across West Bengal participates in these. Apart from the competitions, Eclecia host DJ nights, where some of the world's best DJs performs and also many celebrities including Farhan Akhtar, Mohit Chauhan has performed in Eclecia.

The fees for my course is 45000 per semester. The college accepts payments in cash, cheque, DD and also online through credit/debit cards or net banking. During the time of admission a security deposite has to be paid as well as a fee for admission kit and and the cultural activities. Yes, the college provides full transparency in the fee-breakdown.

Yes, scholarship is provided by the college to the students. The eligibility criteria for the scholarship is that the student must be a board topper. If the student is a topper then he/she gets a good amount of scholarship.

The campus of this college is the best college campus in the entire city of Kolkata. With beautiful gardens and trees it's perfect place chill with your friends and have fun with them. The gender ratio is almost 50-50. There's a student's council which manages all the cultural societies in the college which includes the music, dancing, drama, photography/painting, debate, flying, sports, quiz, entrepreneurship and many more clubs. There are students from different economic, social backgrounds and no one discriminates on the basis of gender, race, religion, economic status.

The seniors are very helpful and friendly. Talking to them you will feel like they are your friends and with their presence the college feels like the second home. The alumni network is very good of this college. Every year a program deicated to the alumnis of the college is held. Many alumnis are now in a very good positions intheir lives and it all started with this college and often some of them comes to address the freshers during their orientation program.

In 2018 I gave WBJEE which is an entrance exam which allows you to apply for engineering colleges in west bengal and I got 3009 rank in it which enabled me to apply for B. Tech course in Computer Science and Engineering at Heritage Institute of Technology.

The faculties in the college are all very knowledgeable and very dedicated and devoted towards teaching the students. Every faculty has a deep knowledge of their subjects and are always willing to help the students whenever required. The tentative number of lecturers would be around 200-300 out of which many have a good amount of industrial experience. Every faculty is highly qualified and the average age would be around 35-40 years.
