Colege management needs to focus on placements. Otherwise things will not improve.
Course Curriculum Overview
We have 6/7 courses in engineering that comprises of Computer, Mechanics, Electrical, Instrumental and Electronics. It is research driven and on the same side it is fair. Faculty is very good and it really made me a better professional. Exam structure is based on WBUT.
Placement Experience
Placement is the only department where we lack. We have industrial training or internship when we are in 3rd year or 6th Semester. I have got placement through pool campus placement outside my college. Well In my college small companies comes.
College Events
Well there are so many events that are celebrated. We have the annual fest that we celebrate, which is called Celcius, we have many bollywood stars that comes to our event. We also celebrate drama and dance competitions. It is a great place to be there.
Fee Structure And Facilities
Feasible, as it a semi government college fees was very less compared to other colleges. There are only additional library fees and there are no other fees as such. There is transparency in the fee breakdown. Fees can be paid via online apps also. So it is very much feasible.
Fees and Financial Aid
No I didn't applied for that. I got admission on basis of my ranking in WBJEE & AIEEE. There are education loans available also.
Campus Life
Campus Life is best. I enjoyed my college life a lot. There are many extracurricular activities like football, cricket, chess and lots of things. Labs were very well equipped and they are very well maintained. We have annual fest called Celsius and it is just spectacular.
Hostel Facilities
No, my College didn't have a hostel facility. They have nearby PGs they are very good and the owner takes good care. My hometown is kolkata so I used to live in my room. And there are lot of rented flats in my college area.
Alumni/Alumna
The seniors are very helpful and very friendly. You can mix well with them. We have a very good senior junior relation in college.
Admission
I got admission by giving WBJEE, I got a good rank and applied for Councelling process and on the 1st round 3rd list I found this college, I was aware of the good education and faculty of this college so I went for it. After the councelling they took an interview after that I selected the steam and my journey started.
Faculty
Faculty is very good while compared to other college. Lecturers are quite professional and they are very well manered. Even the Dean is also well educated and takes class sometimes. Faculty has some experienced teachers, which are very good. Labs are also very good.
