College is decent with decent placement opportunities.
Course Curriculum Overview
It is not mainly reasearch driven institute. This college comes under VTU which follows basic norms of UGC and it's curriculum. Yes the curriculum groomed to provide industry-specific knowledge to the students, that’d be helpful in securing on-campus placements.
Placement Experience
Placement is not so good as of till now. Many companies come but no upper tier companies. Mainly mass recruiters are seen here coming. Almost 50% students get placed. Several programmes are implemented by the college mainly for placement point of view.
College Events
Not many type of fest is held in this college but yes whichever fest happens here is very good. Actually it's the students here who make the environment in any fest enthusiastic. Main college fest is acharya habba which is said to be one of the famous fest in Bangalore colleges.
Fee Structure And Facilities
Around 2. 5 lakhs which is accepted through NEFT, DD, RTGS. Almost 40000 is taken as University fee which included in total amount which is 2. 5 lakhs. College does provide transparency by showing each and every type of fee it takes but hostel doesn't.
Fees and Financial Aid
Many scholarship opportunities were offered but only for native states students. As I am not a local student I don't know the actual criteria.
Campus Life
This college gives a very good campus life which comprises a whole lot of trees inside campus which sounds environmentally good. Gender ratio is about 30% girls and rest boys. Very few workshops, no student parties. Maintains culture and diversity. It has disciplinary committee for any ragging and indisciplined matters.
Alumni/Alumna
Very less interaction is seen with seniors here which is the main disadvantage I've seen till now. But whatever alumni network working in different companies they provide their effort in placement of this college.
Admission
I wanted to study IT very badly as I love it. I have given COMEDK through which I got this college on the basis of my rank. I was getting good colleges but I would have to compromise with my branch selection so as I had to choose IT I choose this college which was best which I could get.
Faculty
It's around 70-80 with average age 40 and mosttly PhD holders. The faculty is not so good here. Mostly worried of examinations and forget to provide essential knowledge which may not be important from exam point of view. Atleast they are very much interactive. Yes the some of the lecturers hold relevant indistry-experience or certifications.
