State level entrance exam. Scored 137 out of 150. It is one of the best college for chemical engineering in India with 100% placement record during those days.

Studied Process Calculation, Mass Transfer, Heat Transfer, Transport Phenomenon, Fluid Mechanics, Plant Design and Chemical Reaction Engineering. Further in consideration of industry requirement, student has choice of electives like project finance, operations management, plant economics, supply chain management, simulation with application of software like chem-cad, metlab and many others to gain advantage over other colleges.

Industrial experience was very good. Learnt the working of whole plant in about one and half months time and then designed a HE for the organisation. The interns were involved in live ongoing project of waste management in the organisations and even interns input were considered. Though, the stipend was not provided, but the transportation, lodging and boarding facility with free usage of organisations resources was available all the time.

More than 100% campus placement. Companies like BPCL, Sterlite, Thermax, BORL, UPL, ATUL and many other offered very good roles and packages. Average package for graduate students was in range of INR 3.0 to INR 3.5 lacs.

All the festivals of Maharashtra and India (Ganesh Festival, Navratri, Holi, Diwali) were actively celebrated in the college. The Ganesh festival is full pledges 10 days function. Navratri is followed with importance of the day, colors and even food.

Being government college it is feasible and supports were given to economical weaker students.The scholarships on the basis of merit was also provided to the champ students. Students were also opting for the state governments scholarships on reservation basis.

Being Semi autonomous and government colleges, most of the time the exam paper was set and checked by college faculties only. But the considerations were never given to any dull student.

Education was fun their, with best of the faculties, well supportive seniors and good library & lab infrastructure. The weight-age was always given to clarity of basics and not on theoretical concepts. The subjects were taught in English only but the explanations at a time were provided in your local languages with examples of surrounding.
