Best College in Pune for Civil Engineering

I preferred JSPM Rajarshi Shahu College of Engineering because it is the best college in Pune. This college is having best faculties I ever saw. Well knowledgeable well qualified very helpful and always available for students. The admission process is simple and can be done easily ( faculty helps a lot so you will not be in any trouble). All departments are good and have well-equipped laboratories. As I passed from the civil department I haven't seen any other college having that much of facilities for Civil Engineering Students.

I took Civil Engineering. One of the best departments in overall Pune or Maharashtra. Civil intake is I think 120 ( including regular and direct second-year students ). The civil department is having almost more than 15 to 20 faculties. They are awesome. Faculty are well knowledgeable and educated. Many of them are Ph.D. holders. And some of them are pursuing Ph.D. Technical knowledge of facilities is good. Faculties are helpful and kind always available for students. About internal exams, it depends upon the year. In 1st and 2nd year per semester 2 unit tests and 1 prelim exam. Apart from this, they are having lots of online exams in between. In 3rd and final year they take 1 sem exam and 1 preliminary exam and some mock orals along with some online exams (they are having their own online platform for exams ). Overall education in RSCOE is literally the best and worth it. I will say if you want to do engineering in Pune then you should take this college.

College offers an internship in the government and private sector as an institution is having MOU with many companies and organizations. I got a Government internship which is awesome.

Placement in RSCOE is more than any other colleges in Pune. All departments are having good placements percentages. I can proudly say that JSPM's RSCOE'S Civil department is having best placement in all over Maharashtra. Computer IT ENTC and Mechanical are having more than 80% placement. In civil I can day 50 to 70% of students got placement. And packages are good according to market conditions and scenarios. Highest package is I think 12 or 16 lacs.

I can say fees are a bit higher than other colleges ( not more but 5 to 10 k ). But I was from OPEN categories so I got a scholarship from Government (EBC) and for other categories too they are having lots of scholarship options. The college will not bother you about fees pending. You can pay that in many installments. But higher fees are worth taking Such a good institution.

Life at the campus is awesome. The infrastructure of the college is nice. Well-maintained greenery on the campus. You can simply create the best memories on campus. Regarding the library, RSCOE'S library is quite good having lots of books regarding your curriculum and others too. The library is well spacious and well illuminated (naturally). ROSCOE'S classrooms are the best.
