Campus experience at JSPM's RSCOE, TATHAWADE - Pune

JSPM'S Rajarshi Shahu College of Engineering is ranked among the topmost colleges in the city. Each department had Doctorate professor and research labs. Considering the placement opportunities, every student hopes to get an admit in such institute. The college provided various international and national level platforms for its student in varied fields such as Robotics, Supra, Baha, technology Events, social events etc. Ample of valuable and safety facilities are provided in the institute namely Bus services, good quality canteen, library, latest technical machinery in the department, etc. Compared to other colleges, this institute is strict and disciplined in studies and other academics.

The course content is well designed and taught as per industry requirements. Other than course subjects, personality development workshops and individual development subjects are also included. Every student is given the option to choose his/her optional course. Timely assignments and laboratory experiments are conducted. Highly qualified professor and also having industrial experience teach respective courses. Every semester few industrial visits and guest lectures are organized in order to enhance the skills of students.

Depending on the major of study, internship opportunities are offered to students. Companies like TATA CONSULTANCY SERVICES, ZENSAR, SANDVIK, SKF, VOLKSWAGEN etc. offer internship opportunities.

The institute holds a record of in campus placements every year. Students are trained and developed as per industry requirements. An undergraduate student becomes eligible for campus placement during the 3rd year of study. Many of India's MNC's conduct their in-campus placement rounds and select students based on their skills. Packages vary from 2 lacs to 18 lacs per annum. More than 60 percent students get placed from in-campus placements.

Compared to other institutes the fee here is average. Students are provided with Internship opportunities, national talent events, etc. The institute also appreciates performances of every individual and sponsorships/financial aid is provided to students.

The campus has ample of amenities and facilities. Campus life is really enjoyable. With proper campus security and strict hostel security, it always feels safe to be inside the campus. The institute conducts its annual fest named INNOVISION where people from corporates, parents, students, entrepreneurs and other college students etc. Participate and experience the Tech Fest. The college has a huge library where we find every book, also every department has its own library. The college also provides access to international study websites and journals. Video or digital lectures are conducted along with chalk and board lectures. Students are provided with a platform to encourage others and develop their skillsets. Various departmental associations are formed which conduct numerous activities and events for students. Students form their own clubs and perform accordingly. Even these clubs help in teaching their peers.
