Wonderful educational ride

Management is greedy, money minded, college infrastructure was poor, it picked up later as it olded.

CET , AIR rank of 1096, took up Electronics and Comm in Manav Rachna Univ, Fbd under MDU Rohtak, Admission process was very bad, books given as part of course is not up to the mark and i took up this college because it was in my hometown and i wouldnt have to stay in hostel.

Bad, no where near to what it should have been, faculty is purely bookish and very few had a good hold on the subjets, curriculum is not practical and its all theoratical.

No internship at that time in 2006, we had to go for 2 months industrial training at the change over of 3rd and 4th year. Any computer course or any other training would suffice for the same.

No company came in campus in that year as the college wasnt that good or reputed, there were plenty of off campuses we attended for companies like Infosys, HCL , IBM. At an avenerage, 2.4-2.8 Lpa was the package offered to most.

Fests were celebrated every year, there were certain big names who attended the fest, rest the cultural activity management wasnt that good, hardly there were any CSR activity or any other Green initiatives, fests had participation from all colleges in NCR and was quite well conducted.

Fee structure was reasonable that time, till 2002, free seat was 5k per semester and paid seat was 50k per semester, bus chanrges would be 5000 addtional per semester, hostel charges were also in the vicinity of 30-40k per annum.

No till 2006, but now I think It has gained in reputation and lot of scholarship and loan facility has come in to picture, Manav rachna is a deemed university now.

Poor campus life till that time, labs were ordinary, any other sports activities were negligible, only debates were organised at the time of annual fest.

Hostel facilities was average, till 2006, girls and boys hostel was outside college campus which is my mind is risky and to top that off, girls hostel was in a residential area which caused a lot of stir and policing at many no of occasions, food was ok.

Senior students were not at all helpworthy and we were part of only 2nd batch and the 1st batch of the college hadn't passed out till that time, so cant say much about it.

In total there were 8 semeseter exams, 2 for each year, in between there would be two sessionals per semester whose marks would be considered in final marks of any subject, so in total of 150 marks for each subject, 100 would be of final exam and 50 would be interal including labs, viva.

Poor, very very bad, zero knowledge of subject, try to impart bookish knowledge, have no pratical experience and its almost a repeat of whats written in the books.
