Remarks

Jaypee university is situated among the mountains surrounded with green environment and pleasant weather which make it suitable for focusing on our studies. Apart teachers are very supportive and so are seniors. Interested in computer science and thus opted the course.

Course Curriculum Overview

Teaching style of Course curriculum is brilliant. Faculties teach us using slides and whiteboard. I am in first year so I have no experience and exposure much. Faculties are supportive and are ready to clear all the doubts of the students whenever they are approached.

Class Size: 30Course Fees: INR 300000 per year

Internships Opportunities

I m in first year. Till now I have not opted for any internship

Placement Experience

If you are in CSE department with average grades then placement is not a big problem. Many companies visits the jiit campus such as Adobe, Byju, Cognizant, Wipro. Highest package was given by BYJU around 10 lakh in 2k19

College Events

Technical events are being held after every two months that makes a child exposed to such technical environment. Diwali, holi, dussehra, friendship Day and all festivals are a type of relaxation to the students from studies. I myself participated in Master chef and was awarded second.

Fees and Financial Aid

William Webster merit cum scholarship is provided to eligible student based on his/her marks in +2 and first semester.it is provided to only one student from each year. Parents income is also one of the selection criteria.

Campus Life

Two playground one of which is basketball court. Internet facility is too provided to students with high speed and 1GB of data per day. Library and labs are big enough with appropriate equipments and study material.

Hostel Facilities

There is separat hostel for first year boys and girls. Hostel seat are designed for total capacity of college strength i. e 1800-2000 students. 7000-8000 per month is charged for hostels as well PGs including mess. Garam paani is too provided to students for bathing

Chandigarh-based companies or the startups, and training institutes come here. Companies like Meander Software, Bebo Technologies, Novem Control, BookingKoala - Sales Hungary, etc. companies come. Average package is 3.8 LPA, and 50% students are getting placed. My plans after getting the degree is working in an IT company.

yes they povide placements. After 6th sem, means in 7th sem you are eligible for placement and apply for companies based on their requirements. Google, Microsoft, Adobe, Amazon and many more visits every year. Highest is the PPO of 93 lakhs and placement of 60 lakhs. around 93% are placed who registers for placements Average CTC is around in between 18 to 22 lakhs

Placement Experience:

At NIT Hamirpur, students become eligible for campus placements from the 7th semester onwards, and the placement scenario has been quite encouraging in recent years. A wide range of companies such as Infosys, Wipro, L\&T, Capgemini, Tata Projects, and several core as well as IT firms visit the campus every year. The highest placement touched an impressive 2.05 crore offered to a mechanical engineering student, while the overall average package stands at around 10.5 LPA, which is a strong figure compared to many other NITs. The placement percentage remains high, with a majority of students securing offers, especially in branches like CSE, IT, and ECE, though core branches like civil and mechanical also receive good opportunities. The profiles offered include roles in software development, consulting, design, project engineering, and research. After completing my degree, I plan to take advantage of these placement opportunities to gain solid industry experience and later decide whether to pursue higher studies or competitive exams for broader career growth.

Remarks:

There are mostly good remarks for college like the environment in kangra Himachal Pradesh is best in the area. There are dhauladar hill ranges infront for college and fress air of hilly areas are good for students.

Jaypee university of information technology solan

I applied for Chitkara, Cu, Du, HPU, SRM etc and the main reason I choose this college is because of the studies, placement and location. The study culuter in this unversity is very good as compared to other university . The student Teacher ratio not very large as compared to the other university which give every students a chance to stand out and get better results . I got acceptance from cu , du and 2 or 3 other colleges. Yes i also got rejections from colleges like SRM , VIT for not scoring a good percentile in jee and the fees and cost of living there i svery high as compare to JUIT . The admission process is very easy students can apply on the basis of their boards marks or on the basis of their JEE exams as well . After that students can attend the counselling sessions where they can vbisit the college get to know about the college . the admission staff is very helpful and they guide the students and family step by step throught out the whole process....Read More

JUIT- beautiful place

I applied in thapar, jiit, juit and Manipal. I got admission in all of them but I chose juit. I didn't go to jiit because my parents thought that environment of juit would be better. Also they were a bit hesitant to me living in Delhi for my graduation as people are very young during graduation. Didn't choose manipal as juit was better in every aspect other than placements. I had got admission in Jaypee noida but in 128 sector and also stream was IT which I didn't preferred so I left that.
