The kind of reputation NICMAR holds is excellent. The institute not only focuses on academics but also provides us with an environment which culturally rich and allows us to network with people from all the parts of the country. Our senior level facilities are excellent in their specific fields. Along with this, the number of companies visiting NICMAR and the salary being offered to a fresher is brilliant.

The course pretty much covers all the important aspects that we will require in the corporate life. In the first year, we are taken for industrial tours to nearby areas along with which we also have a workshop that gives us exposure about on site lab experiments. We are also provided with knowledge in various Civil Engineering softwares. Our faculties are highly experienced individuals who hold terminal degrees from the most prestigious colleges and universities.

A student committee is formed who works under the guidance of placement committee. Thus student committee brings in various companies for providing us with Summer Internships. The recruitment process of Internship generally starts from shortlisting of Resume, Group Discussion and Personal Interview. I was selected for Sunteck Realty at the position for the position of Site Execution.

Various corporate giants like Shahpoorji Palonji, L&T, Hilti, Sunteck Realty, Oberoi Realty, Pidilite, Bectel etc. visits the campus along with 200+ companies. Various profile offered are Site Execution Manager Contracts Manager, Product Manager etc. Job profiles are also offered in the field of Marketing and Sales. The placement process differs from company to company, but usually consist of Group Discussion followed by Personal Interview. A dedicated team of individual are chosen who takes care of the placement process. These individuals undergo a thorough screening process for a month to be a part of Placement Committee. They work tirelessly day and night to provide us with the best opportunities.

The college has various clubs and student organisation who actively conducts various events like Technical, Sports related, Cultural etc. for the students throughout the year. We are also given various opportunity to participate in inter college event's. The biggest fest is usually hosted at the end of the academic year wherein students from all the Institutes, Colleges and Universities from in and around the city are invited.

All our classrooms are air-conditioned and are well equipped with projectors,computer systems and with wifi facilities. We also have central library which has several books related to Management, Engineering and Construction, Real Estate etc. The books are available in the normal as well as ebook formats. It also has conference hall, an auditorium and various indoor and outdoor sports arrangements.

I did not opt for hostel facilities but as far as I know the college has four different hostels which provide single occupancy room for boys and shared occupancy rooms for girls. The mess facility provide three time meals.
