Remarks

Its best for BCom in the city. Its pretty easy to go reach college and its not that far away from my home. The faculty is pretty good and it has a pretty good opportunity for sports and other activities.

Its good. The syllabus is good and intersting. The faculty is good and pretty friendly. The college union is helpul and it provides enough industrial exposure for the development of the students. Our departmental head is pretty cool

Course Fees: INR 22000 per year

Placement Experience

Being a college freshmen i really dont have that much of an idea about the placement opportunities, but i did hear that they provide satisfying placement opportunities to the candidates. Well i myself is planning for a startup and there are a lot of young entrepreneurial blood in our campus.

College Events

The extracurricular activites are amazing and we do have a lot of fun like our annual sports and annual fest and our freshers. Apart from annual sports our college union organises cricket tournament and a football tournament

St Joseph's college a Decent one

Placement Experience:

Placements were not there earlier. But our batch was the first one to get placement at St Joseph's College Darjeeling. To be honest It is not a college you should target if you are looking for placement. The companies were too small . The roles are way to entry level . Highest placement was around 40000 per month but it was an inside sales role so many opt out. There is not official data about placement . My plan was to look for off campus jobs.

Placement Experience:

from 3rd semester, students become eligible for campus placement. Various Jewelleries company has visited, and even companies like Google, Tata and many has visited. As per i know the highest package were in lacs per month. The college provides 100% placement. After getting the degree, I'll do masters in business administration.

I did chose this course to learn more about accounting and finance and the cirriculum prepares you perfectly for the real world. The exams were conducted very soon in few semester only giving 3 months for the students to prepare . the professors were good at teaching and somehow used to complete the syllabus

SXC is invaluable to me!

Placement Experience:

Highest package of our program has been 20 lakhs. Companies like EY, DeShaw, ITC, CESC and many others which are multi billion dollar groups were the ones which are invited for placements. Batch size including morning and evening is of 400 students and nearly 200 gets placements in dream companies. Roles of business analyst and accounting are provided and SAP is taught in our college so those who know that gets job easily.
