Remarks

Firstly this is a good private college.precisely the 3rd best private engineering college.since i am in the 1st year it would not be correct to talk about quality of faculty but as far as the first year faculty thay we have got,it has not been good at all.one needs to understand the things on his own.

The college is under makaut,so there is no question of updated curriculum since that dept belongs to makaut.i am in first year so it would not be appropriate to review faculty but in first year the faculty hasn't been good enough.you need to understand things on your own.

Placement Experience

I am not really accustomed to the placements and as far as i know the placements are not bad in cse,ece but in case of core streams placements are not good.so i would request any one willing to get admission in this college to chalk out your priorities before taking admission.

This college is very rich in terms of extra cirricular activities.although it doesn't have a large campus,ur celebrates festivals and there are a lot of opportunities if you want to try anything barring academics.

I don't have idea about the placements since I'm in first year now. But I talked to a senior and got to know that many got multiple offers in 4th year. I also head that packages are around 4 lpa which is a decent and also a rise than the previous year.

The summary of my four years in one of the oldest colleges in India

Placement Experience:

The campus placements happen in final year of the course. There is a well established placement cell to conduct the on-campus placements. Many well renowned companies visit our college namely Microsoft, Google, TI, TSL, PWC, ICICI, ABG. L&T, etc. The highest package was 50LPA and the average was around 9LPA. Over 90% students got placed from across every department and details of the placement is also available in the college official website. I have gotten a job from the on-campus drive to a core company.

Placement Experience:

The placements of our college are below average. Studies for placement are more or less relevant from second semester. companies like tcs, amazon etc do visit our campus however very few are selected with package above 4-5 LPA. Most of the students seek out for higher studies and that's my plan too.

Placement Experience:

After the 6th semester, the students are eligible for placements. Mass recruiters like TCS, Wipro, Infosys, Accenture, Capgemini, etc visit every year and pick up 80-100 students per company. Other companies like Amazon, Thoughtworks, Etc also visit the college. The highest package offered by our college is 15LPA by Thoughtworks. Every year around 75-80% of students get placed on campus. I plan to get a good job work for 2-3 years and then apply for Masters. Overall the placement is very nice in this college.
