Because the campus of this college is very big and beautiful. Placement of students from this college is very good also. There is also a facility of flip learning in this college. College environment is very good also.
Course Curriculum Overview
Faculties are very good. They taught us methodically with good examples. Even if someone had any doubt they would take extra classes. They also guided us to do college projects. They also shared suggestions before exams. The course syllabus was good enough. Our college is an autonomous college that's why we didn't follow WBUT syllabus.
Placement Experience
Well known companies visits in our college. In each company 10-20 students get placement. Placement process is very good also. Placement cell informed us 5-7 days prior of company visit that's why we could be well prepared.
College Events
There are so many clubs in our college. One can join any of them. Those clubs are music club, trekking and photography club, robotics club, NCC club etc. There is a program called Tech Fest is held every year in our college. Most of the students participate in this. Many guests come from foreign. Beside this, our college celebrates different festivals also like bijaya dasami, Rabindra jayanti, Holi etc. Each department of the college organise different types of workshop on different subjects.
Campus Life
Our college campus is very big enough. There is a gymnasium and a big play ground in our college. There is also a auditorium named B.C.Roy auditorium in our college. There is a library and a book bank facility in our college. For that we need not to buy books. We were given books from book bank in each semester. Computer laboratories are also very good. We were also given wi-fi facility at any where in college campus.
Hostel Facilities
Hostel infrastructure is also very good. Boy's hostel building and girls' hostel building are different. There is also wi-fi facility in hostels. There is a common room and a dinning hall in our hostel. Some indoor games are there in common room. We have a badminton court also. There is also a play ground in hostel.
