Remarks
Well, thapar is a recognised college which has been ranked amongst top 5 private colleges in India. Placement is very good and the campus has a lot of facilities for growth of children. Civil engineering in thapar has lots of scope. Big companies like LNT, SHAPOORJEE and lots of core companies regularly visit for placement cells. The campus has biggest library in Asia and has lots of sports facilities. I would recommend,if going for private university,Thapar university,from my perspective is one of the best university.
Course Curriculum Overview
According to me,the course curriculum was satisfactory as they covered almost every aspect related to the course and also they covered the syllabus for GATE examination for the concerned people. The faculties were highly qualified and student teacher relationship was very healthy. Teachers were anytime ready to clear doubts of students. Manpreet singh, Shweta goel, Tanuj Chopra and many more
Placement Experience
As mentioned before the college is renowned for the best placements in the branches such as Computer science and mechanical,as they are the oldest branch of the college. Equally good is the placement for other branches too. Google, Amazon, flip kart,oyo and many other big companies visit thapar for lots of branches. As per civil is concerned, companies such as LNT,SHAPOORJEE, SAIL, and other core companies visit here every year with an avg salary of 500000/year.
College Events
Campus life was pretty good. As this is my final year,so past 3 years was amongst the best years of my life. I learnt a lot of things In college and participated in most of the possible events that took place. There were lots of society such as AISEC, Fine Arts and Photography, Mechatron and lots more. People with their interest can join in as many societies they can cope with. Regular sports event such as URJA, THAPARLYMPICS, SATURNALIA were held with intercollege participation of students.
