Remarks
Thapar is considered a deemed university and is in tier 2 colleges. The course i am doing is B.E in Instrumentation Engineering is a course that was good enough in this university. The faculty was satisfying and the infrastructure too.
Course Curriculum Overview
We have a great faculty for Instrumentation. The curriculum is scheduled really nicely and it includes everything that is important from labs to practicals and also the curriculum contains subjects that keep you with the market like economics. You get a slight touch with these subjects too.

According to the latest data of 2019. The highest package of Thapar was 39L with an average package of 7L. The top recruiters that visit our college are Amazon, Microsoft, DE shaw, JP Morgan, Infosys, and so on. The startups that visit our campus are multiple some of them being White Panda, Autoninja, etc.
College Events
There is an ample number of events and societies in our college. From cultural (VIRSA) to technological events. There is MUDRA for all the extracurricular activities. The main event of thapar is SATURNALIA. In this event, people like jubin nautiyal and stand-up comedians come for entertainment purposes. The events kee going on for your entire college life. You don’t have a stop to it.
Campus Life
It is spread in 33 acres. The institute is organized into 9 academic units with 6 centers of excellence. There are a Total of 13 hostels 8 are for boys and 5 for girls. The hostels are very well maintained with a great mess facility. You get all the amenities inside the campus itself. From fruits to food. Everything is available inside the campus.
