Remarks

Idukki Engineering college is well known for its architecture and its area.The chill breeze and environment is superb for the enjoyment and it is one of the government college which chooses the students with an average cutt off.

Course Curriculum Overview

The course curriculum is good it is under KTU, good paced learners can easily get into the leaderboard of toppers, Faculties can be better by making strict recruitment process.The academics and the course of IT is tough. But okay for intermediate students.

Placement cell provides us connections to the best recruiting team so that we can be able to crack the interviews,It can be much more better with the mock test and other training process. But it's good for get upto the mark.

College Events

There are events and extracurricular activities every month in our college, The organizations like NSS and technical hubs make games and activities, online or offline and make us to parcticipate for gaining the experience and much more.

Campus Life

Campus infrastructure is good but, it is a remote area, transportation is tough.We have to make out to private hostel or get ur own transportation towards the college.That was the only disadvantage of college.

Placement Experience:

we are eligible for placement from the 7th sem. Many famous and small compines vist our college. Infosys, WIPRO, TCS vist our college. But the big companies take only few student. Highest package was 1,00,000. And the average package is around 4,00,000. Almost all students gets placed from the campus .

My Experience at NIT Calicut

Course Curriculum Overview:

I would rate the EEE course curriculum around 8-8.5 /10 in terms of relevance.The curriculum provides strong fundamentals in core electrical engineering subjects and prepares students well for core jobs and higher studies.The course curriculum was revised in 2023, and our batch is the 1st batch under the new curriculum. however, there are still limited coding ,AI and data science subjects in EEE ,which could be improved. Exams are conducted times per semester and are generally moderately difficult.

Is engineering here worth it?

Students are eligible from 7th semester to sit for interviews. The pod.ai app helps us in making the resume and calculating a cgpa to appear for the intwrviews. The pod.ai registration fees is 500?. Companies such as nissan,infosys,commandtech,bimlabs,gulfasia etc has visited . And the highest package was 11 LPA and lowest was 3 LPA
