Remarks

The college is known for its curriculum. It is one of the best college when it comes to Economics in India. It gives a tough competition to Christ University and changes its course structure almost every year.

Course Curriculum Overview

Amita Vaidya is our director, who understands us and teaches us during the seminars. We have Nahid Fatema, Kiran Limaye, Sneha L. Thayyil, Suranjana Joarder, Sneha Kotian, etc as some of the best professors.

Placement Experience

The placements at college are amazing as big big companies like KPMG, EandY, Lexi pens, Tres Vista, Kotak Mahindra etc. come to our campus. We also have a placement cell which takes care of the entire process.

College Events

The campus life is amazing. It looks like a hotel. We have events going on throughout the year. Ka-ching is one of the best festival I have been a part of. This year we organised a policy challenge on climate changes which got great response.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I chose Biotechnology because it is a multidisciplinary field. We get to study not only topics related to biotechnology but also biochemistry, bio physics, bio informatics, bio statistics, etc. Mostly everything that is essential for future exams is taught during the span of 3 years. The topics of the units are taught in depth but the questions asked during exams are comparatively easy as to what all we studied. The frequency of the exam is, 1 internal exam which consists of both mcqs and written exam, the semester exam for each semester and practical exams for each subject. If u have studied then you will be able to attempt the questions.

The Campus Story : the lands of horror.

Placement Experience:

My college gives campus placement placement opportunities typically after 4th semester, which is the 2nd half of the 2nd year. As my college has a partnership with IBM so the standards of campus placement go right up as the placement depends on the curriculum performance of the student so can't really say much for this. If saying as a stalemate, getting a placement is basically confirmed if the student maintains his/her CGPA of 6-7, which shows the consistent of the student in their field.
