Remarks

It was near my house and the timing of the college was suitable for me as I can easily manage my daily schedule. The college is very prestigious in south calcutta and the teaching faculty is upto the mark. The college has a wide range of subjects for all streams.

Course Curriculum Overview

The new CBCS system as introduced by CU provides a vast learning to the students and varierty of subjects which is beneficial and helpful for the students opted for CA,CS,CMA and any other professional courses.

Class Size: 125Course Fees: INR 12000 per year

Placement Experience

We have three shifts in our college but we still don’t have any placement cell mentioned in the website. Since I’m a first year student, I have a very little to negligible knowledge about placement cell in our college or the average package offered or the companies coming up.

College Events

Our college participates in various inter-college competitions and events. We secure many prizes from all field of cultural activities. The college union provides freshers party to the new students every year. Along with that college organizes an annual fest every year.

Campus Life

The infrastructure of our college is well developed though we lack some of the facilities like proper working projectors. The college provides wi-fi service within college campus. And we have a college canteen serving moderate quality of food at an affordable rates.

St Joseph's college a Decent one

Placement Experience:

Placements were not there earlier. But our batch was the first one to get placement at St Joseph's College Darjeeling. To be honest It is not a college you should target if you are looking for placement. The companies were too small . The roles are way to entry level . Highest placement was around 40000 per month but it was an inside sales role so many opt out. There is not official data about placement . My plan was to look for off campus jobs.

Placement Experience:

from 3rd semester, students become eligible for campus placement. Various Jewelleries company has visited, and even companies like Google, Tata and many has visited. As per i know the highest package were in lacs per month. The college provides 100% placement. After getting the degree, I'll do masters in business administration.

I did chose this course to learn more about accounting and finance and the cirriculum prepares you perfectly for the real world. SXC is invaluable to me!

Placement Experience:

Highest package of our program has been 20 lakhs. Companies like EY, DeShaw, ITC, CESC and many others which are multi billion dollar groups were the ones which are invited for placements. Batch size including morning and evening is of 400 students and nearly 200 gets placements in dream companies. Roles of business analyst and accounting are provided and SAP is taught in our college so those who know that gets job easily.
