It was one of the good colleges available at my rank which I got in WBJEE. It also had a good placement record of more than 93% of students in the Computer Science Engineering branch. Also, the faculties were well trained and it was affiliated to MAKAUT.
Course Curriculum Overview
The course curriculum was recently updated. Our Head of Department is also really good. The teachers are a bit less helpful than you would expect and also there is a bit shortage of proper resources and platforms.
Internships Opportunities
Yes, I have recently opted for internships in content writing and coding on Internshala and Tcs Ion. Also, you can find a lot more on the internet. The college also provides 2 months of industrial training at the end of the 1st yr.
College Events
Campus life is also not that great and requires a lot of upgradation. You would feel you are still in school as there is a lack of freedom. If you have expectations about a huge cultural fest let me tell you this college doesn't organize any fests other than a simple tech fest which is not more than any exhibition of 30 to 40 projects. No extracurricular activities or programmes are organized other than an annual sports meet. Forget your dreams that any famous personality will ever visit your college if you are studying here. No any type of festivals are held.
Fees and Financial Aid
I haven't availed but Bihar govt. provides an education loan for all students. My friends have taken that. This is an accredited college from NAAC and hence you can avail this loan for studying in this college.
Campus Life
There is A jioprivatenetwork wifi which makes use of your own mobile network and just boosts its speed. Neither a good library nor proper sports activities. The lab equipments are also quite outdated and haven't been changed for a long time.
Hostel Facilities
The Hostel is good. We have a 24×7 power and water supply. Also, it has a big playground in which yearly many sports events are organized by the Hosteliers themselves. There is no wifi although. But being and living with your friends eliminates these drawbacks. Else the room size is good having a two student per room order and also is properly ventilated.
