Remarks
Initially i wanted to pursue engineering in Computer Science. But upon discussion with my relatives and parents, i opted for Electronics and Computer seeing so many students going in for computer science. The reason for choosing this college is that based upon my jee mains score i wouldn't be able to get in any NIT, and after the ranking of some top NITs, then comes the number of TIET, which is very renowned. So also considering the location criteria and the distance from the home, this institute seemed to be perfect for me. The course of electronics and computer is also very nice. And i am glad that i selected this after listening to the advice from my parents and relatives.
Course Curriculum Overview
The course curriculum is too much inclined towards the electronics side due to which i faced some issues. But from third year, this course is almost oriented towards computer science subjects. The faculties for the following course are very nice and corporating. They are always ready to help you in any kind of problem. There is a capstone project in the fourth year which helps in developing and polishing upon some of the skills before sitting for any interview.
Placement Experience
The placements are really excellent. IT is said that college provides 100% on campus placement. The highest package last year that was offered was of around Rs. 40 lakhs which was bagged by two students, one from Computer Science branch and another from Electronics and Computer branch. The college provides plenty of platforms and sessions for the placement preparations, thus leaving no room for anixety or fear of placements within the students.
College Events
The college provides you with ample of learning options as there are many societies from almost all fields. So students can go in for as many depending on their interest and willingness to work for them. The whole year various fests whether technical or non-technical are organised by various societies thus giving a lot of exposure in various fields.
