Remarks

I got to this college because of my rank in WBJEE. The college has a great placement record in branches like CSE and IT. The professor is highly qualified and the labs are also well maintained. The campus is a small one, but it has everything a student might need.

Course Curriculum Overview

Courses: There are many ranging from Btech, BCA, BMS to MBA. Clubs are one of the best in Eastern India. We have plenty of seminars to interact with high profile personalities. Facilities are highly qualified.

Class Size: 62Course Fees: INR 412000 per year

Placement Experience

The placement scenario is quite good for branches like CSE, IT, ECE. TCS takes almost 60-70% of students. The salary ranges from 4L to 5L. A startup called Majdoor Mera Naam won Tiecon and was funded 1.3 crores.

College Events

Technical fests are one of the best in Eastern India. Cultural attracts a lot of people. Participation ranges from 600-800. There are a lot of events going on all around the year ranging from hackathons to donation.

Campus Life

Doesn't have a hostel. The library is small. The wifi isn't regular. Labs are good though. Football ground was built this year. The campus consists of 2 buildings. With less parking area and no canteen. No Ac for 1st years and ragging isn't allowed.

I don't have idea about the placements since I'm in first year now. But I talked to a senior and got to know that many got multiple offers in 4th year. I also head that packages are around 4 lpa which is a decent and also a rise than the previous year.

The summary of my four years in one of the oldest colleges in India

Placement Experience:

The campus placements happen in final year of the course. There is a well established placement cell to conduct the on-campus placements. Many well renowned companies visit our college namely Microsoft, Google, TI, TSL, PWC, ICICI, ABG. L&T, etc. The highest package was 50LPA and the average was around 9LPA. Over 90% students got placed from across every department and details of the placement is also available in the college official website. I have gotten a job from the on-campus drive to a core company.

Placement Experience:

The placements of our college are below average. Studies for placement are more or less relevant from second semester. companies like tcs, amazon etc do visit our campus however very few are selected with package above 4-5 LPA. Most of the students seek out for higher studies and that's my plan too.

Placement Experience:

After the 6th semester, the students are eligible for placements. Mass recruiters like TCS, Wipro, Infosys, Accenture, Capgemini, etc visit every year and pick up 80-100 students per company. Other companies like Amazon, Thoughtworks, Etc also visit the college. The highest package offered by our college is 15LPA by Thoughtworks. Every year around 75-80% of students get placed on campus. I plan to get a good job work for 2-3 years and then apply for Masters. Overall the placement is very nice in this college.
