Remarks

I choose this university because of it's high placement records as well as the course structure of the college because they have research as one of their criteria which I couldn't find in most of the other colleges.

Course Curriculum Overview

The course and the curriculum is very easy to understand. We have 8 subjects including advance microeconomics Indian economy and econometrics. We get credits for each subject in each semester and with that we obtain a cgpa

Placement Experience

The placemens offered by the college are pretty good. Though, every student doesn't get placed in good companies. Some of the companies that visit the campus are E and Y, Greenlam, IIFL, KPMG, etc.

College Events

The campus life is amazing as we have a beautiful campus. The Bsc economics students organise their fest known as Ka-ching. It is a festival where different colleges like NM, HR, Jai Hind etc come and take part.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I chose Biotechnology because it is a multidisciplinary field. We get to study not only topics related to biotechnology but also biochemistry, bio physics, bio informatics, bio statistics, etc. Mostly everything that is essential for future exams is taught during the span of 3 years. The topics of the units are taught in depth but the questions asked during exams are comparatively easy as to what all we studied. The frequency of the exam is, 1 internal exam which consists of both mcqs and written exam, the semester exam for each semester and practical exams for each subject. If u have studied then you will be able to attempt the questions.

The Campus Story : the lands of horror.

Placement Experience:

My college gives campus placement placement opportunities typically after 4th semester, which is the 2nd half of the 2nd year. As my college has a partnership with IBM so the standards of campus placement go right up as the placement depends on the curriculum performance of the student so can't really say much for this. If saying as a stalemate, getting a placement is basically confirmed if the student maintains his/her CGPA of 6-7, which shows the consistent of the student in their field.
