Entrance Preview

I appear in AIEEE and my all india rank was somewhere near 2 Lakh and I choose PDM College of Engg. 'cause its one of the finest college in NCR region plus its nearby to Delhi .

Course Curriculum Overview

3.5

To be straightforward , Sluggish it is . I never & i really mean never felt for a minute if I'm taking technical knowledge . Syllabus is outdated & is in desperate need to be upgraded .

Internships Opportunities

In 2nd year I took intern in DMRC which was unpaid but the officials on board to. Complete interest in passing on technical info to me regarding optical fiber and telecom .Later in 3rd year i took my intern in AAI which too turned out to be amaing .

Placement Experience

I don't think my college managed to lure much technical companies .So I never gave much time investing about same plus I'm planning Masters from abroad so didn't gave much time to it .

College Events

My college is not in much college events but had been ground zero for some technical fests organized by state government and IEEE seminars every semester usually organised .

Fee Structure And Facilities

Now planning for abroad , I realized that fee structure in India should be changed 'cause spending 7 lakh on ENgg. studies and all i get is really zero output . So Govt. should start funding the Tech. colleges as Germany do .

Fees and Financial Aid

No I didn't took any education loan for my studies but surely some of my friends had taken loan and otherwise I've no other idea about procedures .

Alumni/Alumna

There's a senior friend of mine who actually helped in many situations in college days and other seniors are very cooperative and have zero info about Alumni network .

Exam Structure

Exam structure in MDU too need to be changed 'cause the pattern is too old and we need to write only 5 answers from 9 each carrying 20 marks . So instead , university should conduct exams on pattern of cbse plus MDU should improve their checking pattern .

Faculty

3.5

Faculty was good with all the facilities provided to 'em by the college authorities . Some teachers help me in writing my research paper took complete interest in solving all the situations i stumble into while studding .

I don't get any intership till now so I can't add any comment.

Placement Experience:

Still it is new college you know that there is no certain records of placement. I am from 2nd batch of this college. But I would say it will provide enough good packages. In 2nd year you have to sit for internship as per the curriculum of this college. so out of 107 seniors, 85 students grabbed intership from the 2nd year. We hope we also be able to grab internship in 3rd year.

Manageable and good

Placement Experience:

So the students can sit for placements right after their completion of 6th semester. The Campus also invites a wide number of companies in the college for placements and a lot of students get placed. Although the placement is not too high.

DCE- A pal or foe?

Placement Experience:

From 6th semester onwards you'll be eligible for campus placements. Many companies visits are college such as adobe, nippo, airtel etc.. Avg package is around 6lpa Almost 70-85% are getting placements.

BEST COLLEGE FOR MODERN EDUCATION WITH GURUKUL NATURE

Course Curriculum Overview:

I am in the computer science and engineering branch. I want to be a software developer and I am passionate about coding and I love to code that's why I am chosen this branch. The faculty members of my college are awesome and helpful. They are well qualified and knowledgeable. They cooperate with students in every situation . they focus much on the weak student so they can also pass the exam. they use the blackboard and smart classes both to teach the student effectively. we have industrial exposure also. the well built spacious will have no importance if not for the wonderful faculty the college has. All are faculty members are highly knowledgeable and done their post graduation from one of the top colleges like IITS. and most of the teachers are GATE qualified and even it is not once. they are writing the exam regularly. so, if you prepare for the GATE exam, then you can get great help from them. they used to prepare us for the GATE exam, along with academics

My College Experience

Remarks:

I am a Delhite and my college is on outskirts of Delhi and also i being residing near du north campus used to think i will enjoy the same college life. but being into a professional (b.tech) course gave me a different view of college and its life. i came to know how to lead a professional ethic life, learnt some good meaningful things.college management is getting strict day by day for laws against students but the other tasks like things that need to be get done from peon are not getting done. ac's dont work even after complaints. in total the college needs a great improvement else it will keep running the business with no fruits.
