Average college - ok for low ranks

It's just another mdu affiliated college where people with low rank can get admission and complete the degree. There have been both types of students form my batch - the extremely successful ones and nowhere ones.

I gave the exams - IIT, DCE, AIEEE, CAT, MAT etc, I did not give. I was admitted based on AIEEE, by standard counselling process.

The college follows common curriculum for MDU affiliated colleges.The first two semesters are common for all streams. Rest semester subjects depends upon steam chosen and final two on the electives.

Honestly, none during my years of study and two years later also (my cousin was there to update me).We had to arrange for our own intern ship which was a part of course as per university guidelines

The college did not make any efforts to invite companies for campus placements. The TPO during my years was quite helpful and made efforts in getting the students access to various off campus drives and also convinced the management to take the students via college transport. However, I can remember that the transport facilities for off campus drives were latter stopped.

There are regular college fears every year and other colleges are sometimes invited to participate.I donot remember any technical fest or event occupier during my.m tenure.

Fee structure is standard as all MAHARISHI Dayanand University affiliated private colleges.I think, The Haryana resident students had slightly low fee than other regions.

I am not aware of any scholarship or loans facilities.The library however was quite useful as they run a book bank wherein the students had to deposit some amount at the beginning of studies and were given course books for semester which they had to return after the exams. The amount taken was latter returned in form of checks after the course.

The campus life again depends upon friend circle.Gender ratio was bad during my time, but must be improved significantly by now.Other facilities like labs, sports etc are quite average and its up to students to leverage advantage out of them.

I was a day scholar and thus not aware of hostel facilities. But we used to steal the food from mess and enjoy it a lot.

I donot thin the alumini of passed out students is there. The seniors help depending upon personal equation. Ragging as banned was almost nil during my tenure and we had fun interacting with our seniors as well as juniors.

Internal sessionals and preuniversity exams conducted are actually good enough to prepare well advance for exams.

The college had mixed faculty. There were some senior professors which were actually very good and made sure that the students attending the classes are understanding and learning regularly. There were some other teachers which were good for nothing and some even cried in our class as ours was well known for naughtiness and mischievous activities. (We tried our level best to to tire our teaches and juniors were warned not to learn anything from our class.)
