Remarks

I stay in Bidhan Nagar and the route from my house to this college was easy and cost was very low too. This was a contributing factor. Als techno group has well known placement reputation. So i chose this college.

Course Curriculum Overview

Faculty members in our college are excellent. They are qualified, knowledgeable and helpful. I am from the CSE department, and it is excellent. Faculty members of math are excellent. There is a chance of getting an internship. As a whole, there will be no regrets. The curriculum is updated and the Academics is followed according to MAKAUT.

Placement Experience

Placements in our college are quite decent. Around 80% of the students got placed at during pool campusing which took place along with the other colleges of Techno India. Mass recruiting companies like Wipro, TCS, etc, recruited students. The highest salary package offered is around 15 LPA.

College Events

The campus crowd is high. Scholarships are provided for the needy. Paridhi is the cultural fest of MSIT. Classrooms are big. The library is huge with ample books. The college does not have a playground. Several hostels are available outside the college. The canteen is good and offers excellent quality food.

I don't have idea about the placements since I'm in first year now. But I talked to a senior and got to know that many got multiple offers in 4th year. I also head that packages are around 4 lpa which is a decent and also a rise than the previous year.

The summary of my four years in one of the oldest colleges in India

Placement Experience:

The campus placements happen in final year of the course. There is a well established placement cell to conduct the on-campus placements. Many well renowned companies visit our college namely Microsoft, Google, TI, TSL, PWC, ICICI, ABG. L&T, etc. The highest package was 50LPA and the average was around 9LPA. Over 90% students got placed from across every department and details of the placement is also available in the college official website. I have gotten a job from the on-campus drive to a core company.

Placement Experience:

The placements of our college are below average. Studies for placement are more or less relevant from second semester. companies like tcs, amazon etc do visit our campus however very few are selected with package above 4-5 LPA. Most of the students seek out for higher studies and that's my plan too.

After the 6th semester, the students are eligible for placements. Mass recruiters like TCS, Wipro, Infosys, Accenture, Capgemini, etc visit every year and pick up 80-100 students per company. Other companies like Amazon, Thoughtworks, Etc also visit the college. The highest package offered by our college is 15LPA by Thoughtworks. Every year around 75-80% of students get placed on campus. I plan to get a good job work for 2-3 years and then apply for Masters. Overall the placement is very nice in this college.
