Remarks

Good reputation among private one's. Good placement record. Good facilities. Also couldn't get into a good government one so this one was the best option. And didn't want to drop a year.

Course Curriculum Overview

In my opinion, UG programme is just like schooling in terms of professional/ Engineering. Till 10th we need to learn science,math, history and 2 to 3 launguages,which is of no direct use in day to day life earnings. Like wise UG programme just introduces to all avenues available in respective streams and the UG student is supposed to identify some or one of them which synchronises to his/her talent and taste and should try himself/ herself to master over it and apply in profession, before he/she become graduate. Because just knowing all avenues is enough to get certificate

This year(2019–20) witnessed many big brands visiting our college for hiring full time employees(4th year) and summer interns(3rd year). Since I myself got an summer intern offer in one of the dream company :p.so first let me give you an idea of internship scenario. Some of the companies that visited for hiring interns : Rubrik (Stipend offered 1.5 Lac p.m.) D.E. Shaw (Stipend -1.5 Lac p.m.) Arcesium (1.5 Lac pm) JPMorgan Chase(50k pm) Optum(35k pm) Goldman Sachs(75k pm) Royal Bank Of Scotland(25k pm) Overall around 15 companies visited campus for hiring summer interns.

MY HONEST REVIEW ABOUT MY COLLEGE LIFE

Placement Experience:

from 6th semester students become eligible for the placements and they should not have any backolgs or reappers in the exam and they should have morethan then 5 cgpa . as i am from the 2nd yeari donot know more aboutm the placement offered made but the average packagr is 3.5 to 4 lakhs per annual and around 70 to 80 percent of students are get selected in placement . and planns after getting the degree is to do higher studies in aerospace designing in the aircrafts.

Placement Experience:

Here, the placement drive starts at the beginning of the 5th semester and goes till the end of the 8th semester. Here, all MNC like Google, Microsoft, Amazon, Capgemini, and many other companies come to our campus for hiring. In the very last year 2 students got selected with a prestigeous 2.5cr & 1 cr packages.

Placement Experience:

From 5th semester onwards students are eligible for the campus placement. Either they get internship or they get placement offers . Number of companies visited are more than 50. I will give some examples of some best companies like google , microsoft, accenture, virtusa, lenovo , Paypal, shadii. Com , JP morgan and many more other good companies visit to our college. Highest package last year was 52 lakh and the average package was 6 lakhs . More than 70 percent Student are getting placement. My plans after the degree is to get a good job in a good company

An honest Insight of my college LPU

The course curriculum should be rated on how useful and complete it is. A good one covers all important topics like Software , Networking , Automata , SQLetc. it is mix theory and practical work . For CSE studendent there are coding laguage like C++ in 3rd sem and DSA in 4th semester.

Honest is the best Policy

I was getting addmission in some other private colleges but this was near to me and had a great rew.. Its infra and hostels are really worth it. i applied for lnmiit college jaipur . there i was expecting computer branch but did got electronics branch so i didnt went there.here in thapar it was based on jee mains percentile for addmission. computer branches were available till 89 percentile for punjab students and till 94 percentile for outside punjab students. so i had percentile of 95 so i easily got computer branch over here....Read More
