Remarks

This college has a good location that is near goalpark area with suitable transport facilties. Along with that the college provides a wide range of subjects with many programmes for the students. The college is well reputated in entire south calcultta and teaching faculty is very good.

Placement Experience

I am a second year student so I donot posses the required information about college placement. But our teachers once told about campus recruitment which takes place for the students in final semester. Our many seniors got placement through campus recruitment.

College Events

Our college participated in many cultural programmes. They gives a freshers party to all the upcoming students every year. We organizes annual fest in which many other college participates. Farewell party is also given to all the passing out students.

Campus Life

Our college has a main building and a big campus consisting of a common room and a sports room. Wi-fi is enabled in entire college campus with free access for all. College canteen is also there with good quality of food at an affordable rates.

St Joseph's college a Decent one

Placement Experience:

Placements were not there earlier. But our batch was the first one to get placement at St Joseph's College Darjeeling. To be honest It is not a college you should target if you are looking for placement. The companies were too small . The roles are way to entry level . Highest placement was around 40000 per month but it was an inside sales role so many opt out. There is not official data about placement . My plan was to look for off campus jobs.

Placement Experience:

from 3rd semester, students become eligible for campus placement. Various Jewelleries company has visited, and even companies like Google, Tata and many has visited. As per i know the highest package were in lacs per month. The college provides 100% placement. After getting the degree, I'll do masters in business administration.

It opens up various career paths in accounting, finance, management, and more. Plus, it's a versatile degree that can lead to professional certifications like CA, CS, or MBA.

I did chose this course to learn more about accounting and finance and the cirriculum prepares you perfectly for the real world. The exams were conducted very soon in few semester only giving 3 months for the students to prepare . the professors were good at teaching and somehow used to complete the syllabus

SXC is invaluable to me!

Placement Experience:

Highest package of our program has been 20 lakhs. Companies like EY, DeShaw, ITC, CESC and many others which are multi billion dollar groups were the ones which are invited for placements. Batch size including morning and evening is of 400 students and nearly 200 gets placements in dream companies. Roles of business analyst and accounting are provided and SAP is taught in our college so those who know that gets job easily.
