Remarks

Because in this course the college provide 90% placement and i was not interested in cse so i choosen this course. The college is located in main city of kolkata. The college is located in salt lake Sector 5. Location of college is very beautiful This atmosphere of college is very good and preety reputed college in eastern india. In cse and IT 100% placement is there. Coding atmosphere is always there in college. If you are interested in civil services then you can easily do that here.

Techno main salt lake is one of the best college in kolkata. Ece is the main department of this college. There is well equipped lab in our college. In our college there are 4-5 clubs. Every club is active. Teachers are good. Our library is not good. Books can be found but mostly there is old books in it.

Many big MNCs visits our campus. Microsoft,Deloitte, TCS, IBM, Intel, TVS, TATA and many more companies came for recruitment. It is the best place where you will be placed in big companies. You will never regret about placement from here

Campus life is awesome in our college. You will enjoy your college life here. Everything you will find near your college. You can have a great time here. Our campus is small so for outdoor sports we have to go out of campus.

Infrastructure of college is excellent. We have different floor and difficult building for every department. Campus is wi-fi ready. Library is not upto mark. Its little. Sports facility is average. Labs are well quipped with latest gadgets.

Hostel Facilities

Our college don't provide any hostel. We have to take flats and pg out of college that is very big disadvantage of this college. Hostel is necessary for engineering colleges life. Our college has a small canteen. You can find some edable foods there.

I don't have idea about the placements since I'm in first year now. But I talked to a senior and got to know that many got multiple offers in 4th year. I also head that packages are around 4 lpa which is a decent and also a rise than the previous year.

The summary of my four years in one of the oldest colleges in India

Placement Experience:

The campus placements happen in final year of the course. There is a well established placement cell to conduct the on-campus placements. Many well renowned companies visit our college namely Microsoft, Google, TI, TSL, PWC, ICICI, ABG. L&T, etc. The highest package was 50LPA and the average was around 9LPA. Over 90% students got placed from across every department and details of the placement is also available in the college official website. I have gotten a job from the on-campus drive to a core company.

Placement Experience:

The placements of our college are below average. Studies for placement are more or less relevant from second semester. companies like tcs, amazon etc do visit our campus however very few are selected with package above 4-5 LPA. Most of the students seek out for higher studies and that's my plan too.

Placement Experience:

After the 6th semester, the students are eligible for placements. Mass recruiters like TCS, Wipro, Infosys, Accenture, Capgemini, etc visit every year and pick up 80-100 students per company. Other companies like Amazon, Thoughtworks, Etc also visit the college. The highest package offered by our college is 15LPA by Thoughtworks. Every year around 75-80% of students get placed on campus. I plan to get a good job work for 2-3 years and then apply for Masters. Overall the placement is very nice in this college.
