Anonymous's Review On Jaypee University Of Information Technology - [JUIT], Solan

I choose this university because for the range of my JEE rank students I guess this college has good placements, have a huge and beautiful campus and also teachers are also supportive. Jaypee provides good hostel facilities and a healthy environment to the students to grow.

Course syllabus is very good and updated for the placements point pf view. JUIT has full furnished labs to get hands on and to practice everything. Faculty is quite supportive and helpful. Attendence criteria is strict here (80% or above) but this us very helpful as students have the tight schedule and time wastage is very less. Provides a good Industrial Exposure.

Placements in JUIT are good and students can get a really high package if they are hardworking. Alumni network is very strong, they help juniors with their experience and knowledge. There is an Entrepreneur cell named TIEDC which helps the bunch of students to plan their career in right direction if they're planning to be an entrepreneur. Many companies come for the campus placements like Adobe(for girls), amazon, TCS, Infosys etc. and majority of students get placed in the campus placements only with the satisfactory packages.

Campus life is quite interesting here. There are many activities being conducted like Technical events which includes Hackathons, coding competitions, Robotics race etc. Cultural fest is conducted in April which is a 3 days event with soo many events and activities going on in the college simultaneously. Participation is very large during cultural fest because many musical bands, singers are being invited which make this a huge success and interesting fest. Festivals are celebrated with large participation and good arrangements by the college. Republic day and Independence Day celebration takes place by inviting people and children from villages around the college and giving them breakfast. All in all the celebrations in the college are very good and large number of people get participation.

25 Acres of campus is one of the main attracting factor of this college. Situated in the beauty of Himachal Pradesh and very close to it's capital (40min away from Shimla). Three floored Library is the most resourceful place all over the college, it is neat, clean and soo peaceful to study. Talking about WiFi facilies, every student enrolled here get 700Mb of data everyday to use. There are Wifi installed every where in hostels and academic block. Labs are equipped with latest versions of computers with essential softwares installed so that students can get exposure to the highest level and get prepared for their placements.

So talking about Hostel. The rooms available are- Single, double and Triple shared rooms. One can choose the room as per their comfort. Hostels are cleaned everyday. Rooms are properly furnished with bed, a table and chair, almirah and one book rack. Getting a hostel room is easy and one can choose for hostel at the time of counselling. Also, PG's are also available near the college.
