Heramba Chandra College is located in kolkata. I did not want to leave kolkata for my studies so heramba Chandra College is the best option for me. Also i got chance to get admission in this college so i took that opportunity

Course Curriculum Overview

The faculty of heramba Chandra College is very lenient. The professors do not take classes usually. There is no pressure for attendance in this college. We do not have to go to classes to attend the lectures

Placement Experience

The college os very old so we have many alumni. Some are popular and some come and take seminars in our college to shed light to the outside realities of the corporate world. The placement cell is not that good. Few students are placed every year.

College Events

The campus of this college is very old and the infrastructure is very poor. the classrooms are huge but they do not have fans. The fests and other events are organised by the student union. We also have Fresher's to welcome our new students joining our college.

St Joseph's college a Decent one

Placement Experience:

Placements were not there earlier. But our batch was the first one to get placement at St Joseph's College Darjeeling. To be honest It is not a college you should target if you are looking for placement. The companies were too small . The roles are way to entry level . Highest placement was around 40000 per month but it was an inside sales role so many opt out. There is not official data about placement . My plan was to look for off campus jobs.

Placement Experience:

from 3rd semester, students become eligible for campus placement. Various Jewelleries company has visited, and even companies like Google, Tata and many has visited. As per i know the highest package were in lacs per month. The college provides 100% placement. After getting the degree, I'll do masters in business administration.

My dream was after B.com then I complete M.com then CA but I couldn't do that. I'm pursuing because I'm interested in understanding how businesses work and want a solid foundation in commerce and finance. It opens up various career paths in accounting, finance, management, and more. Plus, it's a versatile degree that can lead to professional certifications like CA, CS, or MBA.

I did chose this course to learn more about accounting and finance and the cirriculum prepares you perfectly for the real world. The exams were conducted very soon in few semester only giving 3 months for the students to prepare . the professors were good at teaching and somehow used to complete the syllabus

SXC is invaluable to me!

Placement Experience:

Highest package of our program has been 20 lakhs. Companies like EY, DeShaw, ITC, CESC and many others which are multi billion dollar groups were the ones which are invited for placements. Batch size including morning and evening is of 400 students and nearly 200 gets placements in dream companies. Roles of business analyst and accounting are provided and SAP is taught in our college so those who know that gets job easily.
