Remarks

I wanted to further pursue an MBA so I chose bachelors in commerce honours. I chose Bhawanipur Education society college because when I applied to this college I got admission here. Also, it's a very reputable and good college in Kolkata.

Course Curriculum Overview

The teachers of Bhawanipur Education society college are very strict and meticulous. They are thoroughly updated with their syllabus and make sure we are also up to date with the course curriculum. We have a regular internal assessment where we're tested whether we are studying properly or not.

Placement Experience

Unfortunately, I am not aware much of the placement of Bhawanipur Education society college so I can't comment on that. The alumni networking of this college is good. Many alumni make sure to come and visit and give seminars. Even we have many alumni who are doing really well in their respective fields

College Events

The college has its own Various clubs like art fashion dance music drama and others. These clubs take part in various fests of other colleges. We also have our own fest named Umang which is very popular in Kolkata. Various colleges are invited to take part in our fest.

I don't have idea about the placements since I'm in first year now. But I talked to a senior and got to know that many got multiple offers in 4th year. I also head that packages are around 4 lpa which is a decent and also a rise than the previous year.

The summary of my four years in one of the oldest colleges in India

Placement Experience:

The campus placements happen in final year of the course. There is a well established placement cell to conduct the on-campus placements. Many well renowned companies visit our college namely Microsoft, Google, TI, TSL, PWC, ICICI, ABG. L&T, etc. The highest package was 50LPA and the average was around 9LPA. Over 90% students got placed from across every department and details of the placement is also available in the college official website. I have gotten a job from the on-campus drive to a core company.

Companies coming to campus like TCS,Wipro,Deloitte,Biocon,Pfizer. 4. Deperments with strong placement cells secure 10-15 offers per company, depending on batch size. 5. 8-10LPA Highest package offered by Leading companies and 4-5LPA Average package offered by companies. 6. 60-80% of students getting placements. i am interested in Ph.D. programs for research positions.

Placement Experience:

The placements of our college are below average. Studies for placement are more or less relevant from second semester. companies like tcs, amazon etc do visit our campus however very few are selected with package above 4-5 LPA. Most of the students seek out for higher studies and that's my plan too.

Placement Experience:

After the 6th semester, the students are eligible for placements. Mass recruiters like TCS, Wipro, Infosys, Accenture, Capgemini, etc visit every year and pick up 80-100 students per company. Other companies like Amazon, Thoughtworks, Etc also visit the college. The highest package offered by our college is 15LPA by Thoughtworks. Every year around 75-80% of students get placed on campus. I plan to get a good job work for 2-3 years and then apply for Masters. Overall the placement is very nice in this college.

I applied to scottish church, jaipuria college and goenka college of commerce Got confirmed from the first two but bhawanipur had the best discipline , teacherd and a smooth easy process and the best campus.it has a ragging free enviroment which is best for me .
