Remarks

The research facility in college has good recommendations. Also the placement here are quite good as in many branches almost 90-100 % students get placement offers. The infrastructure is also quite good.

Course Curriculum Overview

Faculties are very good. Many faculties like our Hod Dr maninder singh, ML expert Dr PS Rana, Mr VP Singh are best of the college. Industrial experience is also good for Mechanical and Civil branches mostly for CSE you have to face interview.

Placement Experience

Over 200 companies visited campus over tenure of 4 months. Highest package was 46 lacs from Microsoft. Currently the Placement cell is headed by Mr Bawa and has many good network with industries. Alumni plays good roles while industries visiting campus for placements.

College Events

Many College Clubs, Sports fest-Urja( participation over 30 colleges with over 1000 participants, Cultural fest- Saturnalia (one of best in North India). College also have clubs like Econ club, AiSeC, MUN society and other for extra curricular activities.

Fees and Financial Aid

Loan can be made available by SBI located inside campus. Scholarship is available according to mains percentile for top 10% students and further for each year according to CGPA. Also Financial scholarship are provided for some students after submitting income certificate of guardian.

Campus Life

Well developed Sports facility with indoor badminton court, Wooden Basketball court, Cricket ground and Volleyball ground. Athletic course is also one of the best in North India. Labs, Nava Nalanda Library (A proper 3 storey building with over 1 lac books).

Hostel Facilities

Hostel Infrastructure comes under top 5 in all over India. Hostels seats are easily available with all types of rooms single, double, quad. Hostel rent varies from 30000-50000. PG students have to pay same fees as for UG.

MY HONEST REVIEW ABOUT MY COLLEGE LIFE

Placement Experience:

from 6th semester students become eligible for the placements and they should not have any backolgs or reappers in the exam and they should have morethan then 5 cgpa . as i am from the 2nd yeari donot know more aboutm the placement offered made but the average packagr is 3.5 to 4 lakhs per annual and around 70 to 80 percent of students are get selected in placement . and planns after getting the degree is to do higher studies in aerospace designing in the aircrafts.

Why I chose LPU ?

Placement Experience:

Here, the placement drive starts at the beginning of the 5th semester and goes till the end of the 8th semester. Here, all MNC like Google, Microsoft, Amazon, Capgemini, and many other companies come to our campus for hiring. In the very last year 2 students got selected with a prestigeous 2.5cr & 1 cr packages.

Placement Experience:

From 5th semester onwards students are eligible for the campus placement. Either they get internship or they get placement offers . Number of companies visited are more than 50. I will give some examples of some best companies like google , microsoft, accenture, virtusa, lenovo , Paypal, shadii. Com , JP morgan and many more other good companies visit to our college. Highest package last year was 52 lakh and the average package was 6 lakhs . More than 70 percent Student are getting placement. My plans after the degree is to get a good job in a good company

The course curriculum should be rated on how useful and complete it is. A good one covers all important topics like Software , Networking , Automata , SQLetc. it is mix theory and practical work . For CSE studendent there are coding laguage like C++ in 3rd sem and DSA in 4th semester.

Honest is the best Policy

I was getting addmission in some other private colleges but this was near to me and had a great rew.. Its infra and hostels are really worth it. i applied for lnmiit college jaipur . there i was expecting computer branch but did got electronics branch so i didnt went there.here in thapar it was based on jee mains percentile for addmission. computer branches were available till 89 percentile for punjab students and till 94 percentile for outside punjab students. so i had percentile of 95 so i easily got computer branch over here....Read More
