Remarks

This college has the best location that is near goal park with a lot of transport facilities. Along with that, the college provides a wide range of subjects with many programmes for the students. The college is well reputation in south Calcutta and teaching faculty is very good.

Course Curriculum Overview

The faculty provided by the college is awesome. Our courses provide us with practical programmes and e-learning. We have our own library and a computer lab and there we can get assistance from our teachers.

Placement Experience

We have three shifts in our college but we still don’t have any placement cell mentioned on the website. Since I’m a first year student, I have a very little to negligible knowledge about placement cell in our college or the average package offered or the companies coming up.

College Events

Our college participated in many cultural programmes. They give a freshers party to all the upcoming students every year. We have a college library and a college canteen which provides cheap and affordable food to all the staff's teachers and students there.

Campus Life

College provides wi-fi service to all students and teacher within the college campus. We have computer labs with well-organized programme and learning facilities. We are being provided with many computer courses. Our college has a big library providing numerous books to all of its students.

I don't have idea about the placements since I'm in first year now. But I talked to a senior and got to know that many got multiple offers in 4th year. I also head that packages are around 4 lpa which is a decent and also a rise than the previous year.

The summary of my four years in one of the oldest colleges in India

Placement Experience:

The campus placements happen in final year of the course. There is a well established placement cell to conduct the on-campus placements. Many well renowned companies visit our college namely Microsoft, Google, TI, TSL, PWC, ICICI, ABG. L&T, etc. The highest package was 50LPA and the average was around 9LPA. Over 90% students got placed from across every department and details of the placement is also available in the college official website. I have gotten a job from the on-campus drive to a core company.

Companies coming to campus like TCS,Wipro,Deloitte,Biocon,Pfizer. 4. Deperments with strong placement cells secure 10-15 offers per company, depending on batch size. 5. 8-10LPA Highest package offered by Leading companies and 4-5LPA Average package offered by companies. 6. 60-80% of students getting placements. i am interested in Ph.D. programs for research positions.

Placement Experience:

The placements of our college are below average. Studies for placement are more or less relevant from second semester. companies like tcs, amazon etc do visit our campus however very few are selected with package above 4-5 LPA. Most of the students seek out for higher studies and that's my plan too.

Placement Experience:

After the 6th semester, the students are eligible for placements. Mass recruiters like TCS, Wipro, Infosys, Accenture, Capgemini, etc visit every year and pick up 80-100 students per company. Other companies like Amazon, Thoughtworks, Etc also visit the college. The highest package offered by our college is 15LPA by Thoughtworks. Every year around 75-80% of students get placed on campus. I plan to get a good job work for 2-3 years and then apply for Masters. Overall the placement is very nice in this college.

Moderate College Life.

After HS I applied many colleges but I didn't got chance at the top notch colleges as they damand more marks than I got. After trying so many colleges I finally got admitted to this college.
