I had wriiten Kerala engineering entrance exam and got a rank of 10000 .So i had opted for a good college near to my home town. This college is a well known upcomming private college in mid trancore region.
Course Curriculum Overview
The course curriculum followed the MG university curriculum. It was not very stuff curriculum to follow. The applied electronics and instrumentation course is very similar to electronics curriculum. instead of telecommunication we learnt instrumentation which is a very intresting field. The course has industrial instrumentation 1 2 and 3 in the sems 5, 6 ,7.
Internships Opportunities
There were no internship in college.We were to have a factory visit during our 3rd year. We went as group to keltron. You can directly approach the company for a weeks training which they will happily accomodate you for. The company personnel helped us in understanding.
Placement Experience
During 2010 the inflation issue was on its highest notch eventhen our placement cell ensured compnies like infosys and wipro to come in for placemnt. All the all pass students were immediately placed in companies like infsys, cts, accenture as we had to go about and apply in person fr these jobs. Palacment cell gave their full support to ensure all of us were placed.
Fees and Financial Aid
For top students and promising students college offers scholarship. This depends on entrance rank, 12 th marks and our performance in our university exams to ensure a continuity in the scholarship.
Campus Life
Campus life was fun. campus rules are strict the campus is a completely strike free campus . Extra ciricular activites are highly encourage inter school sports competion is there, inter school fest and also cultural and sports day are there for college. To discourage ragging the college has freshers day were the freshers can show case their talents. From thes show stealers the seniors choose the freshers for helping them in hosting events.
Exam Structure
The exam structure are hectic. We have 2 internals and one university along with assignments in every sem Lab internals are also there. This happens in a span of 6 months due to vasy syllubus the study leave for university is usually .Very less however timely palnning can help us to ensure handling all the exams along with all extra curricular activities.
