Remarks
I didn't completely choosed this college, I remember back then it was in my 4th -5th choice selection for wbjee counseling and as I waited till 3rd round my choice didn't upgraded and I got stuck with this college .
Course Curriculum Overview
As I m a student of mechanical department it would be better to stick with it, there's a worng misconception of judging a college by its placement records, the course thoughout is structured very nicely but I still feel that a lot things could have been better like compulsory projects in initial sems, practical life related assignments. Talking about faculties it was the only thing which motivated me to join this college, the only thing I heard before joining the college was that the facilities are really good and I would definitely agree with them now that yes they r indeed good, not the best in world but really supportive and friendly.
Placement Experience
It totally depends on your stream a lot of proper jobs a available if u look into IT sector but there are only few good offers in my stream that been said a lot of management and sales job offers are available but they really doesn't matter much for a true mechanical engineer.
College Events
I m one of the introvert engineers who don't like unnecessary meet events and parties but I would like to tell u that a lots of events occur during a year. The only thing I loved was the sports meet coz there atleast I know what to do . and if u r one of the management seeking guys I would tell u that u will get a lot of attention here for sure.
Fees and Financial Aid
I m afraid to say that I got nothing to say in this section because I didn't applied for any but I remember a number of my friends applied for it that was offered by state government not by our college .As far as I know my college doesn't provide any scholarships to students but it do have TFW seats.
Campus Life
I really don't like my campus infrastructure coz it reminds me of my school also the locality surrounding is not that devloped and it feel like I m studying in a village, but recently they have started to work upon it don't know how it would look in few yrs. The labs r quit good , but I hate the sports department even though I m a cricket team member.There is never money for the sports budget , don't know what they do with it. Library is massive and u can keep upto 10 books uder ur card.
Hostel Facilities
"Sorry the hostel is under construction" , this was the label we got when we tried to get into it and still after four years it says the same , I got to know that it started a way back in time and still hasn't completed yet .
