Remarks
First of all, I picked cusat because I wanted smaller class sizes and the chance to establish close relationships with other students and my professors. I thrive in a collaborative environment, and I relished the opportunity to engage with other students and work together to complete projects. And the second thing was In 2016 I have targeted mainly Both computer science engineering and information technology branch in CUSAT because the placement of these branches was pretty good in the previous few years.
Course Curriculum Overview
CUSAT Following the syllabus of Kerala technical university which includes all new technologies and we learn that technology in a manner way. There are companies (like EY,TCS,SOTI Etc) that visited for internship and provide the PPO after completion of the internship. And if you are in your final year then many companies visiting our campus and provide dream jobs. Specially In my stream, some good faculties are there and I am very thankful to learn something from them and done some projects under their guidance in my case I was done mine both project under Mr. Pramod pavithran and believe he is very supportive and guide me through out my project.
Internships Opportunities
No I haven't Avail any internship.
Placement Experience
Placement is good in cusat. About the top 40 percent of students are allowed to sit in the placement. The lowest package is about 3.0 3.3 lap. The highest package was about 29 lpa. The average goes around 7lpa. Larson and toubrow Shapouri,cisco,TCS,Wipro, Infosys,soti,musigma,investnet,gel India,ongc,iocl etc. These companies offer the role of software developer, analyst, project engineer, system engineer, consultant, safety officer job many more core companies. As a junior engineer, many are hired. In my core branch package starts from about 3lpa to 12.6lpa. Internships are fully based on the student's credit, how he or she efforts to get the internship.
Fees and Financial Aid
If you ask me I have no such idea that there is any scholarship for loan facility has been given to the people at my time there was no such thing as this you just pay the fee and then you gonna get your admission and all the things don't happen the same way.
Hostel Facilities
The hostel fee is 500 per month without canteen facility big want to avail the canteen service then you have to pay around 2000 to 3000 per month. To Avail the hostel facility you have to first apply for it and confirmation came in few days.
