Remarks
Heritage institute of technology is ranked third in Kolkata after jadavpur university and IEM. So as i was interested in technical course and according to my rank,i was not capable in getting in other two college. So for me heritage institute of technology was best. Also if we see campus of heritage then it's better than IEM. Heritage also gives good placement and as I'm in last year and even i got placed in a company like AMAZON.
Course Curriculum Overview
If we talk about facilities then I'm very sorry to say heritage hasn't got sufficient facilities for students. Me being an electrical student,the lab of ours was not upto the mark. Also this college doesn't focus much on curriculum activities, they just take classes and give their 100% in studies.
Internships Opportunities
I have done an internship but with no stipend. Name of the company was Bosch.
Placement Experience
Placements and job opportunities are good in heritage, enough numbers of company visits our college. Its just that they don't take enough students. Companies like Tcs, wipro, Infosys, cognizant, ibm and many other sales companies visits our college.
College Events
As i said earlier heritage mainly focus on studies nothing else. So events were rarely done also fest and events were done alternate years that was by strong pressure of students. Campus is good. So i had good campus life with friends and studies.
Campus Life
Talking about campus infrastructure, heritage has not got best of sports facilities. Students need to arrange them on their own. Wi-fi was also very weak,mostly not working. Talking of library then it was fine,good space,good books were available.
Hostel Facilities
No, i haven't opted for hostel. But my friends were at hostel so i know sufficient deatails about the hostel. Hostel facilities were not upto the mark. Studnets mainly prefer to stay away from hostel because of not so good food facilities. But other than good staying facility was fine.
