Remarks
It was a top ranked named autonomous college in my city. The teaching facilities and lush greeneries made the perfect atmosphere. I tried for Jadavpur University but did not get admission there in Electrical. This looked to be the best private college.
Course Curriculum Overview
Curriculum wise it is good. Some faculties are good some are bad. Its a mixed reaction. Overall teaching quality was good. Course syllabus design was really good being an autonomous college. Industrial exposure is quite normal. Very less or no workshops are conducted at Industrial level which is aconcern. Labs are okay kind of.
Placement Experience
Placement and job is what this college is lacking. Only IT companies visit the campus. Large IT giants like TCS and Infosys are the mass recruiters. No core jobs especially in Electrical. This is not expected from the college at this level. Firstly, core companies must be given the opportunity to visit it. Also, students must be allowed to sit in atleast 2 companies if he/she bagged one offer letter.
College Events
The problem this institution is facing is its extra curricular activities. There is no student council body. No fest being conducted nowadays. Only one fest I got in 4 years that was Eclecia and 1 Tech Fest. Expected more but management is very bad.
