Techno India Group is a renowned organised group in West Bengal. They also provide Job from some big companies also. The college is approx 15km away from my home and the route is common for public transport. The college campus provides one of the biggest workshops in Bengal.
Course Curriculum Overview
The college has almost every courses in the engineering department, for example, AEIE, ECE, EE, ME, CSE, IT, CE and BBA, MBA. This college is affiliated to MAKAUT and have updated syllabus, they organise several events co-curriculum activities within and outside of college boundaries. Like every college, the faculty members here can be good as well as bad.
Placement Experience
For the core department getting the job is really very difficult in campus selection as well as getting a job opportunity from outside. For mechanical department out of 120 students, only 10-12 students get placed during campus selection with good or average salary for their core subjects. Faculty members here will just train you to get the job. So that the reputation of the college will no degrade, they will give you the bookish knowledge but will fail to support their statements with logic.
College Events
The seniors here are very helpful they often came up with new programs and events for the students. Every year college holds sports tournament in which Table tennis, chess, football cricket, volleyball, Badminton, rally, distance run etc are included.
Campus Life
My college has a campus area of around 5 acres. They have fully worked and well-equipped lab, some machines here are out-dated or not working properly but most of them are new and fully working, in here you will find every tools and machinery required for the practical lab of respective departments. The library here is well equipped with your course books and reference books. The college now is lacking wifi connectivity and a.c. Installed classrooms.
