Remarks

Because I got this college according to my entrance score and the thing I like most in this college is about our electrical faculty they are superb and because I love to learn about how electricity generated and how various different electrical machine works

Course Curriculum Overview

I made the right decision for choosing the electrical engineering because electricity made me fascinating every time when I get to learn a new topic. In our college you have so many wide variety of choosing any extra curricular activities according to your interest Our college organised many industrial visit to show us the hoe the industry is, what is the demand of industry now a days from us. We visited thermal power plant of CESC, Garden reach where we get to know how electricity is generated and transmitted to us. Our electrical faculty of this college is so great and They are keen to share there knowledgeable to us and teach the things which is helpful for understanding the subject that what electrical engineering is. There are so many great faculties we have in our electrical department some of them are our respected H.O.D Sir Papun Biswas, Partha Roy, Partha Das,Milan Sir, Biswamoy Pal, Basudeb Dey,Abhishek Dhar and all of our lab assistant teacher are so good.

Placement Experience:

I don't have idea about the placements since I'm in first year now. But I talked to a senior and got to know that many got multiple offers in 4th year. I also head that packages are around 4 lpa which is a decent and also a rise than the previous year.

The summary of my four years in one of the oldest colleges in India

Placement Experience:

The campus placements happen in final year of the course. There is a well established placement cell to conduct the on-campus placements. Many well renowned companies visit our college namely Microsoft, Google, TI, TSL, PWC, ICICI, ABG. L&T, etc. The highest package was 50LPA and the average was around 9LPA. Over 90% students got placed from across every department and details of the placement is also available in the college official website. I have gotten a job from the on-campus drive to a core company.

Placement Experience:

The placements of our college are below average. Studies for placement are more or less relevant from second semester. companies like tcs, amazon etc do visit our campus however very few are selected with package above 4-5 LPA. Most of the students seek out for higher studies and that's my plan too.

Placement Experience:

After the 6th semester, the students are eligible for placements. Mass recruiters like TCS, Wipro, Infosys, Accenture, Capgemini, etc visit every year and pick up 80-100 students per company. Other companies like Amazon, Thoughtworks, Etc also visit the college. The highest package offered by our college is 15LPA by Thoughtworks. Every year around 75-80% of students get placed on campus. I plan to get a good job work for 2-3 years and then apply for Masters. Overall the placement is very nice in this college.

I choose this college because this college was good in among all the average colleges in West Bengal leaving the top colleges. The placement is also good. So for all this reason I choose this college. I wanted to go for heritage but my name didn't came in cutoff.
