Remarks
I chose this college because the entire Sinhgad campus is very good. It has multiple facilities like lush green Cricket Ground, normal and NRI Hostel facility, multiple mess options, swimming pool. The Sinhgad Karandak happens every year and has many events such and EDM night, dancing, singing, fashion show, drama competitions and other technical and non - technical events organised by every department. The other main reason was that the campus placement of this college are very impressive especially of IT and Computer department.
Course Curriculum Overview
My college comes under Savitribai Phule Pune University, Pune. The course curriculum was updated I was enrolled to 2015 (Pattern). We have enough labs and computers to perform practicals and projects. The faculties are very friendly and support students and are very helpful. Bholane Sir, Dhage Madam, Joshi Madam, Bhojane Sir, Kulkarni Madam and many more faculties were great at their job.
Placement Experience
Many product based and other companies like Veritas, EQT, Accenture, Cognizant, Infosys, Aptify, Persistant, methi softwares come to our college every year. The placement process starts at the starting of 4th year. The process consists of pre placement talk, Group discussion, technical rounds and personal interviews. Alumni network is great and alumni come to take placement in our college or to guide us.
College Events
The Sinhgad Karandak is the biggest event that happens on our Campus. Many celebraties like Kapil Dev, W and W, Chain Smokers, Brooke Evers come every year. We have many inter campus and inter college competitions like dance, singing, drama, fashion show, sports etc. Colleges from all over the Maharashtra take part in these competitions. During this time every department also arranges it's own technical and non technical events.
Campus Life
It is a huge campus. The campus has a common lush green Cricket Ground, and a 4 floored library it is the biggest library in Pune. We have a gym as well consisting of table tennis, carrom, chess and other games. Labs have enough computers and all are updated.
Hostel Facilities
I had opted for hostel for first 2 years. We had single rooms and each room had 4 beds. The hostel and mess rent for 1 year was 65000. It is very easy to avail hostel facility there is no any criteria and every student can get it easily as there and enogh rooms.
