Remarks

College reputation is very good. The College's has a magazine and student can write poem, literature and another topic. Our college has organised annual cultural programmes. The programme held mid July and August.

Course Curriculum Overview

Our college campus was a large campus and our college hostel is so far college where the hostel super visits every week. The hostel mat is a near hostel where NCC student took NCC tanning. Our college has ladies girl hostel and ladies hostel gate took two guard man who unknown persons do not allow the hostel.

Kaliyaganj College held many other festivals like "nobin Baran utsav", Teachers day, 15 August, 26 January projatantra divas, "Swarasati puja" and "Annal Cultural Programme" etc. Annual cultural programme held on mid-July and August.

Fees and Financial Aid

Our college scholarships facility offered needy student when loan capacity not available for all students. The Principal help to receive a loan when the student applied to principal for a loan. Which student give the loan for education that student college fee does not give the college.

Campus Life

The infrastructure of Kaliyaganj College was sports facility cricket, football, volleyball, badminton and NCC programs for all both girl and boys. Our college was a big library on the 2nd floor. Where three liberarian organised liberty although the art's, science and commerce.

Hostel Facilities

Our college hostel is very good. Hostel room is very clean and the hostel has four toilets and four. bedroom and a kitchen room , a mattu. College ground bihind the hostel where The students playing football, cricket, vollibol. The College NCC teacher tech ncc the student in the ground fill. Hostel super Bipul Mondal visit hostel regular three day a week.

I don't have idea about the placements since I'm in first year now. But I talked to a senior and got to know that many got multiple offers in 4th year. I also head that packages are around 4 lpa which is a decent and also a rise than the previous year.

The summary of my four years in one of the oldest colleges in India

Placement Experience:

The campus placements happen in final year of the course. There is a well established placement cell to conduct the on-campus placements. Many well renowned companies visit our college namely Microsoft, Google, TI, TSL, PWC, ICICI, ABG. L&T, etc. The highest package was 50LPA and the average was around 9LPA. Over 90% students got placed from across every department and details of the placement is also available in the college official website. I have gotten a job from the on-campus drive to a core company.

Placement Experience:

The placements of our college are below average. Studies for placement are more or less relevant from second semester. companies like tcs, amazon etc do visit our campus however very few are selected with package above 4-5 LPA. Most of the students seek out for higher studies and that's my plan too.

Placement Experience:

After the 6th semester, the students are eligible for placements. Mass recruiters like TCS, Wipro, Infosys, Accenture, Capgemini, etc visit every year and pick up 80-100 students per company. Other companies like Amazon, Thoughtworks, Etc also visit the college. The highest package offered by our college is 15LPA by Thoughtworks. Every year around 75-80% of students get placed on campus. I plan to get a good job work for 2-3 years and then apply for Masters. Overall the placement is very nice in this college.

Kaliyanganj College is one of the largest colleges in Kaligganj in the North Dinajpur district of West Bengal. The college, affiliated with the University of Gaur Banga, offers undergraduate courses. It is approved with NAAC B ++.
