Natural and healthy place to study

It is a good college to complete graduation from. The high rate of placements are a encouragement. Fees is little on the higher side. Other campus facilities are pretty good. I have all good memories from this college.

I secured admission to SIT on the basis of my MH-CET score. I had scored 150 in the exam. The college is known for the placements offered at the end of course and that was the most encouraging factor for me.

Specialalisation in Information Technology. Good Curriculum. Helped in easy transition from college to professional life. First year was inclusive of subjects from many specialisations.

No internship. However, we are required to undertake a project for final year. This project can be done in a company or by the students themselves. I had taken individual project.

The placement and job opportunities are good at this institute. The placement process is combined for all colleges of Sinhagad group. There is no shortage of companies visiting the campus for placements.

All type of events are celebrated in college. The technical festivals have participants from all over Pune. Cultural festivals are even more popular and are attended by huge audience. The guests invited for such festivals are also very popular personalities.

The fee structure is neither expensive nor cheap. The institute charges at par with other private institutes in Pune. However, the fees is acceptable considering the ROI.

Haven't availed nor received any scholarships or loans. Few friends have availed loans from nationalised banks. The rate of interest on these loans is very high compared to what is offered in other countries.

The institute has fair gender ratio of approximately 60:40 for males to females. Parties are a frequent affair and there are many societies as well. People from all across India come to finish their graduation from this institute. The college is very popular amongst students preparing for engineering entrances.

I have stayed at my home throughout the course period. However, I was told by my friends from hostel that the facilities are good and that they were happy staying in the hostel. Food wasn't the best but there were other options available in campus and that was sufficient.

I have been an alum for more than 4 years now. However, I don't see the institute making enough efforts to connect with the alums. Senior student interaction is healthy at the campus.

We had a semester pattern as required by the university. Also, each subject had weightage for orals as well as for internal activities. The internal activities included, lab performances, projects, assignments, attendance etc

Good faculty. Educated, qualified and supportive. From first year to final year. All the faculty has been very engaging. Insights provided by these faculty have helped immensely in professional life.
